Hi so I need some advice from people who know more about lights than I do . so I bought a 240 watt light from amazon and I also have a hlg 330 v2 rspec I was gonna add the 240watt light to my grow tent during flower but now I’m thinking of returning it to get a 480watt lm301h with uv ir . It’s only 200 more. So wat I’m asking is if it was u, would u stick with the 2 smaller lights of get the bigger one. I’m keeping the hlg just wondering if I should return the 240 for the 480 . Tent size is 4x4. Description of light I have and the light I want listed

The thing is I haven’t tried putting both lights in 1 tent and I’m worried about the heat. Would 2 240s give off more heat than 1 480?
You could always remote the drivers to outside the tent, if you find conditions to warm.

I personally think having 2-4 small to medium lights is better than 1 or 2 big ones. They're easier to replace when one fails and you can get better coverage
Redundancy is always a good thing to have, for those unexpected times when something craps out. Also, if doing a perpetual style grow where plant heights vary, you can adjust a lights hanging height to suit a particular zone or collection of plants.

The best LEDs on the market are only 80% efficient the other 20 is lost to heat. Also keep in mind if it says its a true 250-350 watt LED and has one or more fans. They're lying to you, those fan draw watts from somewhere, right? Chances are a 150w led without fans could possibly be just as or close to the same wattage as a 250w with fans. Samsung parts is another feature that i would look for
