A daylight bulb is any bulb between 4800k and 6500k the higher the number ther more blue light it puts off. But dont use those blue 10000k aquarium lights. Too unnatural for plants. Theyre made to simulate light going deep into the ocean. Bottom line dont know the Kelvin temp, dont grow with it. Most cfls u find are between 3000k and 5000k (sub par for photosynthesis)
