The guy said WHOLESALE and people are listing prices per gram. He obviously wants to know average wholesale prices for bulk weight sale.
He's most likely someone who's considering growing and wants to assess the risk vs. reward by determining the amount of money he's likely to make off his crop.
And if he's a cop... who cares?! Do you think you're going to get "busted" for responding to an internet post about the costs of marijuana? Seriously, people. Pull your heads out of your asses and think about maybe abstaining before posting this drivel. A kilo of pot ? Who asks for a kilo of pot ? I've been burning since the mid 80s & never once have I ever bought or been asked about a kilo of pot. 1lb, 2lb 5lbs 10lbs but who the fuck asks for prices for a kilo/ 2.2lbs of pot ? I smell pork !!

In So Cal it's anywhere from $2500 to $4000 a pound for good bud. It depends on your connections . My buddy in Oregon gets $125 to $150 an oz, and its a tough sell at $1500 a pound. He brings it down here. Personally I would not take the risk. My assholes a virgin and I intend to keep it that way!

In the greater Western United States I'd say that $300/oz. - $1,000/quarter-pound - $3,500-$4,000 /lb. is a reasonable and generic breakdown. This only applies for quality indoor or super quality outdoor (rarely this expensive). Granted, there are plenty of people who get oz.'s for less all the time, and some who get them for more.
