Hey, I'm up for the challenge to see who's plants look better right now. I'm all for it. We will need to verify that the pics are taken today by a newspaper or something.

Do you want to play a game, lol?

Ok ... let’s clear the air .

1. that plant is nowhere ready . Add at “ least “ 3-4 weeks ....

2. Breeders lie .... no matter what the breeder harvest window says it is ONLY a guide. Plants often yield better and have better buds
going beyond estimates. Your grow skill and grow environment for the plants play into the final results you get.

3... regardless of strain .... All flowers will show common maturity traits that will show maturity.
Flower times vary with strains but doneness will be when “ it’s ready “. Like staring at paint dry. Calyx ( with pistils ) will swell , bulk
and show pistils color off and recede ( maturing ) . Leaf triches are always maturing at different times and does not represent the
flower’s maturity.

4. Check calyx areas of buds .... look for an OVERALL AVERAGE of trich cloudiness ... a percentage from ALL BUDS. LOOK for
pistils to color off at 80% or higher across buds ....... sometimes a grower can take the most mature ( usually the upper canopy buds / mains ) to harvest and allow the mids and lowers to continue.

Look at “ harvest ready “ bud pics ... look at the common signs then you will see how much further a flower can go.

Forget that amber bullshit ... some Strains won’t begin amber til after chop , as it dies.

You are on the right path by displaying the pic you have , you just need to look in right places.
Thanks mate, great info

he thought that plant was ready to chop. Game over

crystal balls buddy how bout you come watch some real growers grow ;)
any real grower could have seen that it had weeks to go. If you’re chopping plants that look like that you’re just another clown selling shit weed People like you are the reason I started growing

Looks good! I would wait out those last new white hairs. It’s amazing to see how much the plant changes while that happens. See you in a week or two.

Nice job. Patience is the hardest part but it will be worth it.
I'm keen to see the weight of her when I chop. I got 4 ounces dried off the last grow. It was the same strain and I nearly killed it several times and made every rookie mistake there is to make. Apart from a little nute burn early on, this grow's been smooth sailing with (I think) a successful mainline grow. 8 huge colas staring at me now

don't flush, there is no real reason to flush other than internet bro science. Real science shows diminished yield, flavor, and smoke quality when flushing.

I disagree. I’ve had hydro before that hasn’t been flushed and it can have a nasty after taste and leave black ash. The only place online that I’ve seen saying that flushing with plain water will result in diminished yield and flavour, were trying to sell a product to flush with lol

You're assuming just because the smoke was bad that it is the flush. RX green technologies performed a proper scientific study and a blind panel preferred bud not flushed. An analysis of the bud showed no notable difference between the minerals and nutrient content when flushed vs not flushed. There is no real scientific evidence to flush and your anecdotal evidence is just that.
