I see. Yeah, successful cloning is all about immediacy. You have to give them perfect environmental factors instantly upon severing the branch. You are in essence killing it and bringing it back to life before necrosis (wilting) can take over. I haven't done it myself, but I've watched what my friends do, understand perfectly, and can duplicate what they have shown me. I just haven't done it yet... but plan to in the coming months.
From what I understand, a fancy cloner box with sprayers isn't even necessary. Just a plain ol' cutting/seedling tray with humidity dome with rockwool cubes. But playing around with water def helps the success rate.
