Man that looks like a newborn Tokay Gecko. Those aren't native to America. they are sold in pet stores. I have one. They get huge. I'd keep it if I were you. They are beautiful. Google it. You'll see what it looks like as an adult. They are bad ass. Mean though.
 
^that's why i'm glad i grow up north, none of that shit. worse thing that happens when i go out to visit my plants is these little grouse like to jump out of the grass 3 feet in front of me making as much noise as possible. and scare the shit outta me.

Lizards aren't harmful. In fact, they eat bugs. They are GOOD for plants.
