Swimming isn’t the same thing as a hot tub. Hopefully it wasn’t heated too high and it was only a short time. That’s a recipe for disaster.
 
cat name Loran ran some Jacks Cleaner crosses that were pretty good, think just for tradin purposes, better than the parents,etc. I see now his Long Bottom Leaf has gained some rep also, but those Cleaner crosses were more potent than TGA gear. imho

I have zero tga , but have Loran’s male crossed to a bunch stuff from mota and bad dog. Ive heard the male makes some potent shit..I have a Querkle cross for norstar but I think that may be subcools male? They were freebies.

I’ll def pop some of those LBL crosses soon...I have .starfighter, white skunk, zd30, ecsd, sfv og (a bx)

Loran's a very cool cat, think he had some bad luck couple yrs ago, hope he's bounced back.
:bigjoint:funny thing, Norstar has been showing their strains on FB after being phylosbiod. You should see how the genetics show up. If its correct, that genome testing, lot of skunk and hemp and cbd in strains you might not think.

I don’t buy much of anything from Phylos. I used to do whole genome data analyses, and your results can be really skewed based on how thorough the data set is, and what parts and how much of the genome are being analyzed. Phylos basically says all OG cuts are identical, but we know that a lot of them are S1’s or S2’s. A thorough analysis should be able to identify differences.

would s1s and s2s have the same dna as the mother or would it be different? just curious...

Everything in the S1 will also be present in the mother. BUT, a thorough analysis will be able to genotype individual plants and identify differences between an S1 and it’s mother.

So let’s say Mom is heterozygous at genetic marker #1: AB. In an S1, 50% of the plants will also be AB, 25% will be AA, and 25% will be BB. (Typical Mendelian genetics). By identifying heterozygous sites in the mother, you can see variation between the mother and an S1.

Because Phylos can’t do this, I imagine their genomic analysis is rather limited in the number of sites they are genotyping. They might not even be genotyping plants, just checking if a genetic marker is present or absent. I used to use genomics techniques that could identify and genotype organisms for tens of thousands of sites easily and cheaply 5+ years ago. So the technology exists for it.

friend gave me some jillybean candystore f2s, smells really good-fruity-
got one purple-ish pheno that's pretty frosty.

this is week 9, taking a bit longer than I'd hoped

This i never understood it either frosty with decent flavor. But never found any of there stuff to be AAA or close to it. I never kept any of there stuff around as mothers for very long

Jillybean is a Cali-O polyhybrid, and the fast tolerance buildup was a trait I wasn't too fond of myself. Its best cycled into a rotation with other varieties. I don't tend to smoke just 1 plant so it never seems to be much of a hinderence. Its got a really nice upbeat happy buzz most know if you've smoked good Cali-O.

Sorry I wasn’t referring to just the jillybean. Just tga gear in general. Aren’t basically all there strains polyhybrids?
