Mycorrhizae autoflower final pot from germination

I have some Plant Magic mycorrhizae and the directions for application are to sprinkle in and around the potting hole. That's fine for transplanting but when using a single pot from germination what would be the most effective way to use this with soil? Should it be mixed evenly throughout the soil, or mixed into the soil a few inches around where the seed will be placed, or something else?

Just top dress but if you are using salt based nutrients don't bother

I don't fully understand the science behind it to be honest but as far as I know it helps uptake of nutrients by promoting a healthy rhizosphere environment. Maybe other stuff too?

Are you saying it's not needed in my setup which is Biobizz All Mix and a range of their nutrients?

Most stuff isn't needed
It is all smoke and mirrors
Just like the seed business
Divide the products and tell you to add amendments
I use a multi fertilizer and skip all the other stuff unless my plants show a deficiency

I shouldn't have said 'not needed', I know it isn't essential by any means.

If it will offer some benefit though (which I think it will) I'll give it a try as I already have it. I'm new to growing so just experimenting with whatever I can at the moment. I'll give the top dressing option a go as you suggested. Thanks!
