My Substitute Reality.

remember when?-

it was all about love, and sharing. music, and drink. the moon over the fire?

everyone i thought i knew is being corrupted somehow? and instead of maturity bringing enlightenment and generosity, it seems to be resulting in only one overwhelming characteristic; GREED.

character used to make life interesting. it seems as though anymore, masses are STRIVING to be homogeneous. how utterly fucking insipid.

with all that in mind i figured i would share. we'll begin in the lab.

i spend alot of time at the house-

or farm, or whatever. my disabilities are the main reason. i no longer feel like a three man crew. i have been famous for it. even doing the yard work, which i used to do with zest and vigor, takes me forever anymore. indicating slinging saws and shovels may be done for me.

anyhow. i am interested in anything analytical, making science and math paramount for me. i work on everything from computers and remote control toys for the kids, to making dinner. i tend to have alot of research materials on hand, and always three or four things tore apart on the bench, with a myriad of small parts and screws everywhere.IMG_3679.jpgIMG_3479.jpg153.jpg154.jpgIMG_3680.jpgIMG_3738.jpgIMG_3737.jpgIMG_3739.jpg

i have as of late re-arranged the grow somewhat-

i installed a sink. i now carry the plants to the sink, and rain there. it is easier, but still not what i'm after. i'm thinking machine.179.jpg

179.jpg
and i've also acquired some new climate control hardware.
IMG_3705.jpgIMG_3624.jpgthey WERE single hose units, until i converted them to a dual hose setup. the difference being that a single hose uses room air through and out, whereas a dual hose intakes and exhausts externally. which is what i wanted for my sealed room.

i have all the details of the conversion, including photos. but am waiting to do the thread as i have my hands full for the time being.some pics of the materials and through vents w/ piping.IMG_3724.jpgIMG_3689.jpgIMG_3730.jpgIMG_3725.jpg

growing plants is very difficult in realities-

not this one. the hoop house is up(no pics due to inclement weather), and will be in full swing soon. this freakin weather is a bitch this year.
only outside though.

right now i am running greenhouse seeds SLH, Jillybean, and a strain the old hippy called citrus. i can find limited information on it, but it was so beautiful and fragrant(grapefruit) in his room i had to have it.
i had been running a locally bred medical strain that had some promising characteristics, but was lacking some as well. for now it has been selfed and archived for the future.

i ahve run out of room in the veg room for the moms and cloning operation(added patients). so i've had to make a clone closet.
IMG_3681.jpgIMG_3683.jpgIMG_3684.jpgthe new veg room is almost done. just need to wait for this batch of clones, and hook up the portable air(like it's a llittle thing.
IMG_3687.jpgIMG_3712.jpgIMG_3713.jpgIMG_3726.jpgand, of course the flower room.
IMG_3745.jpgIMG_3744.jpgIMG_3742.jpg248.jpg238.jpg239.jpgIMG_3743.jpgIMG_3746.jpgthe beginnings of a perpetual grow? most likely.

Looks like things are developing nicely for you Murfy... I've got my fingers crossed on my version of SLH, but I'm pretty sure it will be a winner after its first 2 wks in flo. Also Grapefruit Citrus... those flavors are my language. Thanks for a glimpse into your progress. I'm reminded of my ever expanding list of limiting factors to go after and improve. good luck, from a fellow mittener.

thanks abe-

i have always got something going on and have been toying with the idea of a hangout where like minded folk can comment on my folly. maybe this is that reality?

i've been reminiscing lately-

god i miss the 90's. it seems now they were the last of the free times. people were alot happier. political correctness had yet to grab hold, and make multitude of whiners.

oh. and the music festivals.

were any of you kiddie's at this one?

Plants look great, my friend.
And I don't see anything wrong with your "reality."

I used to have a lot more energy when I was younger, too. Did all sorts of repairs/modifications in my house from years ago. I'm only 8-10 years older now, but I feel like I was crazy for doing all the work I did back then...and could never muster up enough energy to do anything like it again. Gettin old really sucks...

deprave-

my man!

anyway, i'm sure you and i are gonna be trading off. that vanilla kush is really great!

grow room setup is sort of becoming my specialty :). if there is any thing i can do to help let me know. i might even have some extra hardware layin around.
also. i think i may ahve made a local connection for clone sales. he does have few requirements, one of which is NO bugs. the rest is common sense.
i'll let ya know if it comes to fruition.

oh-

picked this up from scarhole. felt like it needed to be repeated. i can't even believe this. where did this technology go? imagine if we just would've accepted cannbis and hemp as it was meant how different the world would be.

i believe cannabis can save the world also-

i get really depressed sometimes when i think of it like that. it means that we as a group are to stupid to easily relieve ourselves of a substantial amount of grief. WTF?

HAPPY 420!-

A CAREGIVERS PRAYER

Lord, bless me this morning and each one I rise
With a wealth of strength; please bring hope to my eyes
Be sure I’m well-grounded for those in my care
Even if the challenge becomes much to bear
Should this day bring hardship, please help me to find
A beautiful memory for some peace of mind
Please shower my life with compassion and love
As I take my cues from your guidance, above.

Lord, bless me this morning, as I make my way
Please give me the laughter to warm someone’s day
Be sure I am steady, be sure I am wise
Be sure I am ready, should struggles arise
If I shed a tear, Lord, I pray you will see
I’m making the most of the chores asked of me
As I strive to put others’ needs ‘fore my own
Always stand beside me, so I’m not alone.

Lord, bless me this morning and each one I live
So I’ll remain focused on the care I give
Be sure I’m afforded the best tools allowed
To serve others’ needs and in turn, make them proud
Please look down upon me and offer a smile
So, I’ll always know that my job is worthwhile
Let me treat each patient and illness the same –
As worthy as this prayer, I’ve asked in Your Name.

and one for the garden-

Thank you for my garden, Lord, and for each tiny seed
that sprouts and blooms so beautifully to fill my soul's true need.
Thank you for the pleasure, Lord, I find here on bended knee
for my garden's glory surely is a blessing sent from Thee.

I see Your love reflected in the color of every bloom;
a rainbow of Your splendor in every tint and hue.
Each tiny, dew-drop coated bud a promise of Your love,
nurtured by warm, summer sun You send from up above.

I thank You for the gentle rain that that feeds the dry, parched earth
and freshens air and leaf and tree and gives each one new birth .
I thank You for the gentle breeze that bends each petaled head
and gently carries butterflies throughout my flower bed.

I ask You for Your Blessing, Lord, upon my little plot of land,
may it grow and flourish guided by Your hand.
Thank you for the pleasure, Lord, I find here on bended knee,
and in each flower that blossoms as a blessing sent from Thee.
