As i can't find a job at the moment, i'm just using a cheap set up to grow my plant until it needs a 150 watt light, and a bit more attention, but this is it now:

It's a ikea bulb, with a microchip in it, so whatever that is, it's that, and about 4 inches.

and i should be getting some commercial plant food today.

change that thing to a cfl! (cool white or 6700k preferred) halogens suck ass at growing! and you probably should've just removed that cardboard thing and bury the stem to hold her up! and switch out the foil, my first grow i just used some white wrapping paper, which worked rather well!

oh and, it's a juicy jay rips tube, because it got floppy from me messing it up, basically.

but i'm just keeping it there now to be safe.
 
i'm not completely sure about the exact bulb you have, but i looked up ikea light bulbs and it was showing me a whole lot of halogens! maybe a pic of the bulb would help to classify it??? haha

that' definately looks like a halogen bulb! change it out to a cfl, and you'll probably see a whole lot of growth!

Your better off without the light and just using that light thats coming in through your window for now until you can buy some good lighting. If you get direct sunlight coming through your window, then it will do well for now. Even if its only an hour or two direct sunlight, it will still grow fine for now. I live in a flat that gets 1-2 hours direct sunlight in the evening, and i grew a superskunk plant on my windowsill for 3 year lol. It slightly flowered but then went back to vegging each year. When you want to flower, just put it in a cupboard or something. Just somewhere dark, for 12 hours each day. Sunlight is free, and its been doing the job of making plants grow really well for millions of years. (:
 
Also your neighbours arent gonna be able to make out what it is for a while, until it gets big. Good luck with your grow mate, dont give it too much nutrients or overwater it and you'll be fine.

I'm pretty sure my neighbour grows aswell, as my room often smells of pungent bud.
 
oh no!

the cardboard has gone mouldy.

i just took it out, the bottom was all filled with mould, but it's fine, thanks for putting the attention on that so i noticed! haha
