My set up...is this going to work?

Okay, so i wanted to know if my set up would work... I am going to have 15 plants growing in a 8ft long, 4ft wide, and 4ft tall area. I planned on doing a 400w HID light with reflectix insulation covering the whole area. I will have 3 computer fans to regulate the air flow. 2 to let hot air out(located at the top) and 1 to let cool air in(located at the bottom). I am going to also have an oasis watering system in there to water my plants for 5-7 days a week before i can come and water them myself. Do you think this set up will work or should I make some changes?
Also note that i do not have access to a watering hose so i cant hook one up to another watering system.

Two 400 HPSs would not be enough to light that area sufficiently. Two 600's....yeah, pretty much. Two 1000s.....optimal if the heat can be controlled.

A 400 is absolutely maxed out at 4x3. I run mine in a 3x3 space and am very happy with it, but my setup has been all dialed in for years.

I like your thinking, but not nearly enough light....

So even with reflective insulation a 400 watt wouldnt work? Do you think i could still do 15 plants and minimize the places size? Smokinrav?

If I were you I would either cut the room in half if you want to use the 400 or get another light in there. You won't have enough light with just one 400 in that space hey!

With one 400 cut size in half (length) and you could still do 15 but some would be outcast on the sides, lollipop them so u can use the light and maximum space to your advantage. Only lollipop the outside plants is what i meant. Alot of growers use ONE TECHNIQUE for all plants but just like math u find the right equAtion and now ur trendsetting. Good luck bub
