You should lolli pop those plants before they flower, just take off the bottom 2-4 branches so the energy goes to the top of the plants

ive broken my camera so i havent had anything to post in the last week or so. ill have a new one within a week. ive had some good things and some bad happen lately. my autos are all in their final spot and looking good. i lost 6 plants due to?? a mouse? rat? i dont know something chewed the bark around the bottom half inch all the way around. never had this happen before. had rabbits eat them but they take alot more off. this was just enough so it was hard to notice. im now trying everything in my arsenal to keep it from getting the other 4 planted in the same area. bummer they were good plants. on the flip side ive got plants 6' and they were before june 1st and for the folks who think i'm a liar ill have pics up soon. so you win some and loose some the way it always goes. they willl be 7' by next week id guess and its not from stretching we have had 3 solid weeks of 80s here in the east coast. beautifull weather so far they think its early jully. peace hope everyone is doing well.

Good to hear from ya Sodalite, was wondering where you were. Sorry to hear about the loss of 6 plants. On the bright side you have plenty more and now that you know there is something is in the area with a taste for stems you can take preventative actions. Good luck bro...
Can't wait to see some pic's of those 6' footers!

im thinking it was a mouse/mice. i set traps and got one.i used lots of things and the rest havent been touched. but my mouse trap got one. they looked chewed on by teeth. if it was caterpiller or worm they would have gone higher i asssume. one plant did make it a mk ultra it was chewed just as bad. but the tree wound and wrap must have worked one out of 6. but its still lagging behind the rest. payday is thurs ill have camera then to take pics.

Yeah growing outside is always a gamble. I thought I was lucky so far only losing one plant, but now I have 2 more that are at the verge of falling over. The stems are nice and strong, but the fan leaves are getting so big they are acting like sails and pulling them right out of the ground. Gonna try to get back out there tomorrow and stake them down, but a few strong wind gusts and they are done for. Imagine, losing plants because they are growing TOO well...haha, only my luck...

Seems like my combination of moth balls, soap, red pepper, and garlic worked in keeping the pests away for now. I was having problems with bug a few weeks ago and picked up some Ortho ecosense 3 in 1 bug spray. Maybe you can try that out. It has sulfur in it, which I imagine doesn't taste too good to any mice or rabbits that want to nibble at your plants. I've been using it every 2-3 weeks and it has stopped my bug problem almost immediately. It's suppose to be safe for flowering plants, fruits, and vegetables, but I'll probably stop using it a few weeks before harvest.

yea i keep mine tied down rigt from the start till the end. when they pack on weifgt from getting big buds youll need to stake up the big branches to keep them up. but thats a good thing aye.

yea ive used a mixture of lots of stuff to keep the animals at bay and i normaly dont loose any to them but there is always that year.ya know. ive never tried the ortho. ive tried lots of nasty stuff when i was younger but now days i use neem oil it works for most bugs that will hurt your crop. i dont like to use it before harvest myself but luckily you never seem to need it around that time. if you can get them till about 2 weeks before harvest nothing seeems to touch them anymore.at least not in my area. peace.

There is some bad ass mouse poison called "one bite death", I bought a box an put it around after mice got 3 of mine in my cages.
Seemed like the strongest stuff i could find.
