My plants are too tall! PLEASE HELP BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!!

My plants are only 2 weeks into flowering and they grew way taller than I had expected. There is only 1ft4in left space between them and the reflector which is way to hot for buds to do good in, and the only fan I got going is blowing over the top of them.
What can I do to fix this? I am getting tempered glass to put in the reflector but how should I do the ducting and the fan connected to the ducting? I have never set one up before nor seen one set up.
Is there any another way to fix this problem other than stated above?
PLEASE HELP! I only have 2-3 weeks left untill they hit the reflector and then....I am done for :(

read a lil more. Ebay for fan and if you have the funds do not cheep out because you could run two hoods with one fan, lowes has the duct work or ebay for fan, filter and duct work for 175 I think...

I only have one duct connector to go into my reflector. Is that okay or do I need two?
So basically tell me if I'm wrong but all I need is ducting to go from the reflector to a fan sucking out the hot air in the reflector and expelling it into another room/outside. Is that basically it?

When you spoke here about a filter, what type of filter were you talking about?

Is this just to make another duct connector on my reflector out of ducting?
