Hello RIU,

I've been here since 2012 but never made it through a full Harvest (I know lol pretty bad). Lets hope to change that this go around. Any help or comments would be appreciated.

After reading the Strainly thread I came to the conclusion you can't trust nobody in this game lol. The way I see it I trust posters on this forum more than anyone on Strainly/IG. I reached out to Dividedsky and got some beautiful genetics, Thanks Divided.

I'm growing in Pro Mix HP/WormCastings/Perlite with GH Flora Series Nutes. I have a 9x4 tent with 1600 HPS and a 100w LED for Veg.

I got 3 fully rooted clones on the 24th. Slurricane/Garlic Breath/Dolato

I gave them very little water, I didn't moisten the Pro Mix (Probably my first mistake but won't be the last). I was scared to overwater.

Now 3 weeks since I first got them I had to transplant them to 3 gallon fabric pots. Problem is watering. I don't have any runoff, I don't want to drown them but I'm putting close to half gallon in each and barely getting any runoff. I know you need to flush the salt buildup but hopefully that doesn't screw me up. They are getting Big. Probably gonna start taking clones from them in 2 weeks. I plan on keeping them as mothers and flipping clones into the flower chamber. Feeding them Veg base Nutes from 500 to 700ppm.

Look at this DROOOOOOOOPPPPPPPP. Bad right? I had no idea what I was doing wrong but I guess it turns out it was getting droopy everyday towards the end of the light cycle. It would be perk right up after about an hour or 2 under the next light cycle but by the end it was drooping again. I moved the light away and the Droop hasn't been as bad. The Slurricane is an aggressive grower and shot up tall very quickly.

Other Pic is top of the Slurricane.

Hey @Marla 420 , they might look a little thirsty, but maybe just lighting? Also, always completely soak your medium everytime you water. Water slowly to allow the water to really saturate stuff and not just run through... Then wait for them to get light before watering again. Watering too frequently leads to overwatering issues, ot giving a lot of water when you water them.

Lol Thanks I had no idea actually. I should have started this journal when I first got the clones.

The grow bags tend to dry out faster, than plastic containers. If .5 gal doesn't produce any runoff, give them more

So 3 months later and these ladies became MONSTERS. The slurricane became a 6 foot slender tree, the Garlic Breath is a pretty classic beautiful plant, the Dolato is a small Thick BBW Woman. I'm currently giving them Tap water at 6.3 PH, 2.5 Cal Mag, 5 Micro, 5 Grow, 2.5 Bloom, it comes out to 400ppm (Which is weird because when I was giving them lower MLs it seemed to come out to close to 400ppm anyway). Feed Feed Water. I know that's low for late Veg but they seem pretty healthy and I don't know if I should go up in PPM.

My problem isn't with them tho..... It's TRYING TO CLONE THEM!!

I made a DIY Aero Cloner, cut at 45 degree angle, dipped in Clonex, put it on a 15min off 15 min on timer, gave them 3 weeks and not 1 clone grew roots. I then read that your supposed to dump out the water everyday or every 2 days.... I can't do that lol Its heavy as hell. I struggled so bad just doing it once.

I then tried the rockwool in a dome technique. soaked them at 6 PH shook off the excess water put a heat mat under it and left it there for 1 and half days later when I came back they were bone dry and dying. I can't clone to save my life..... I guess I just have to keep trying. I'm getting impatient and just want to flower them already but I don't want to lose the genetics.

I'm gonna do the Dome again but keep an eye on it and mist it a couple of times a day. The Mat dries it out fast though and I have a hard time understanding what I need to do. In the cloner you can't let the water get hot in the dome you can't let the water get cold. Ughhhh frustrating.

Hi Marla, don’t worry u will get them clones to take I have better results with ezy plugs.

I leave about 1/2 inch of water in the bottom of humidity tray and just top it up every so often to keep the plugs moist. Can take a week or two for them to take.

Also when u take your cuts u want to get them Into a cup of water straight away, you don’t want any air getting inside the stem. Then exactly as your doing into clonex then about half way into the plug. Keep at it you will get it, if it makes ya feel better the first clones I got going turned out male cloned the wrong plant doh

^^this!! Try using plugs as Gazza said or mix your own coco/sphagnum/perlite/castings for medium in small starter trays. Do the same 45deg cut, dip in clonex, insert. Spray entire inside surface of dome each day to maintain 100% rh. Wait till they root in about 1-2 weeks before you start to open vents to dry out and harden slowly.

I'll go snag about 5 cuttings at a time.. but cut them long. Then when im done cutting fans off, and the tips, I'll save my 45 cut for last, and as I make the cut, dip it in the Clonex. Minimal air exposure. Im a fan of Rapid Rooters. They come with a tray that has water channels in them. Just keep the channels full of water.... weak veg solution is optional, but I do it.

Update. UGHGHHGHGHGHHGHGHGH I think I have PM!!!! Is this it?? you can really only see it at certain angles. Maybe it's just the start? I actually just recently got a Dehumidifier and a Better oscillating fan but I'm sure I got this from my previous setup (Fan was mehh didn't oscillate). It's not all over the plant only certain leaves have them.

From some searches on here I read Apple Cider Vinegar 2 tea to a quart is a good natural remedy. Also Defoliation as you can see I was very afraid to mess with them all this time but I pretty much said screw it I have no choice. I went ahead and did it, I must say they look really pretty now lol.

I'm still having a lil trouble cloning but I did get 1 solid clone and maybe 2 or 3 other ones if they can pull through. So with that I want to flower the 3 girls I have now. Problem is PM, I'm scared it's gonna get worse, I read in Veg you can do alot to combat it but in Flower you're doomed. I hope I can remedy this, If not I lost out on 200 bucks and 4 months of growing. Booooooo!!!!!!!

I read good things about Regalia but it's EXPENSIVE. Is there a cheap alibaba knock off of that? Lol. :P:P:-D

As for the Nutes I'm giving them 8 ml Calmag 20 ml Micro and Grow and 9 ml Bloom for 3 gallons. Comes out low like 350-400 ppm. Using the GH Flora Series chart, well actually I bumped it up just a tad. The PPM was too low even now it's probably still low. Feed Feed Water Feed Feed Water.

These ones in the tent have not been flipped to flower?.. You may have to chop them down a bit, you’re going to run out of headroom when they stretch. How long have they been vegging? Prob going to need some support like a net. As far as WPM, does it rub off easily?

Make sure you have plenty of air circulation both above and below the canopy, and maybe consider some selective pruning below the canopy to open it up for better circulation. I'm not convinced you have PM-google yourself up a bunch of pictures and compare them. Many times people think they have PM when it's actually just water residue. Regalia is awesome stuff, I love it, but even a fan like me doesn't always use it due to price. One cheap thing you can do to induce a SAR response is to feed/spray aspirin water-just crush up one aspirin per gallon of water (get cheap aspirin with no coatings). I always use some sort of wetting agent or aloe juice for my foliars, they just work so much better that way-also, test spray a branch to make sure you aren't going to kill anything on my advice LOL-I keep a test plant in my mother tent that I just abuse with foliars to no end. Another good, CHEAP, thing to have on hand is Potassium Bicarbonate. It can burn plants if you run it too concentrated, but it's a great treatment and preventive for PM (so is neem mixed with silica.) Aspirin is really underrated though, it has both a systemic and a contact effect on fungus, and they even use it as a postharvest treatment on many types of fruit to prevent botrytis. Good luck!
