thats what i did. i went to home depot a couple weeks ago because this grow is almost done, they are 6 weeks into flowering today. i got new sprouts germing right now. i bought some lamberts potting soil for 6.50 2.0 cu ft. it doesnt have any perlite so you need to add that but it looks good no sticks or anything the bag says 100% organic so we will see lol

gotta watch out for my dog though.. i left my bag laying on a table next to my bed... i heard her playing around when i was in the kitchen.. i come in my room and she has my bag in her mouth shaking it trying to get the weed out, half of it was already on the floor... i was pissed.

Ours eats nugs. Almost shot her once, but then cooler heads prevailed and put a saddle on her and rode her like a pony.

On a side note...when I had to toss two plants I pretty much went for the tall stressed ones. I figured they would be male , does anyone have a method to detect male preflower cuz I want to start some mango seeds to replace the males ...just don't know how many to start.

you wont see any pre flowers till week 4-6 or untill a couple weeks after flipping to 12/12

i would plant at least 5.. 2 or 3 for sure will be female.
i used bagseeds for my first grow, i had 10 plants all together they were all males but 3.

Going with a scrog grow for my first...any word to the wise???
just do a little reading, lots of threads on these boards to check out. its a pretty simple concept so not much to really say. I have read that framing a big square and then using screws only 1/2 way screwed in and string is a good way to build a Screen.
