Updates.
I have changed cab yet again! due to the fact i was struggling to keep my temps down in the other one. I came to the conculsion it might have something to do with the fact that it wasn't sealed very well and the pc fans where having trouble keeping on top of the heat. Anyways all is good now still have all the same setup but in a diffrent cab which is light proof! Apart from where my intake fans are. All seems gd so far, and no i don't plan on having to change cab's again can't be gd for my plants. Hav adapted this one so that i can put a bigger fan in later on and hopefully i 125 dual bulb to replace the bulb hanging in the middle. Main diffrence with this cab is that i have my 4 other cfl's stuck to the side walls of my cab for side lighting (done with the intention of getting a better bulb soon for the middle.)

Onto the plants!
Didn't water any of them yesterday didn't think they needed it gave them all sum today though, temps not to bad for once at 75!

Updates-day 11.
I have no idea what is going on with these two! Maybe there meant to look like this i dunno though so any advice would be great! One of them is just a long curly stem in a pot and the other has two fan leaves but very close to the soil, that one doesn't look to gd either the leaves seem to be turing up and have a slight yellow colour. Is there something wrong? Any opinions would be great as they both look so diffrent!

Updates-day 4.
In the last few hours since they have been in the new cab both of them have sprouted! Seems things are finally going my way.

Pics.
The first 3 pics are of my new cab, then of my plants that are 11 days old, then my new babies that have just sprouted but you can't really tell on the pic, and finally them all together.

I just got my first auto-ak47 sprout fo my second grow so i'm interested in this grow. How much light are you using? i'll probably be using 200W throughout the grow but changing the bulb types.

Only have 5 20watt cfl's at the moment plan on getting a better light soon, hope your grow goes well too!

I think the one without leaves is a gonna brov.
Good news about your latest two, just use water for the first couple of weeks and you'll be fine.
Make sure the soil is dry lower down before you water them.

Looking good man.

I decide one of them wasn't going to sprout after all this time so i have chucked it out down to 3 now. The oldest one that did have leaves doesn't look too good it now has no leaves the 2 it did have curled up and died. I don't no what's going on with it, cos on looking closer it doesn't look like it's dead it looks like it is growing a stalk. Kinda like it has just sprouted and not got any leaves yet, seems pretty strange to me so any advice or opinions would be great.

As for the other 2 well i was wrong, only one of them had spouted seems to be doing well got its first set of leaves today. As for the other one well that hasn't even sprouted yet so maybe that's another one down. So far i have 1 out of 4. Either i must be really thick and doing something wrong to only have 1 out of 4 or i got some bad seeds. Proberly me though lol.

Onto the pics, the first one is off the oldest one that has now lost it's leaves the second pic is of the other 2 and finally them all together.

Did you germinate the seed first? If not, look on FAQ at the top and look up germination. Just follow the steps on there and you'll be fine. Personally I put mine in cotton wool (wet but not under water) left them for 4 days and they all had little roots, then I put them about 1 cm, deep in soil and they sprouted in two days.

Yer i did germinate first, will try how you germinated yours next time if all goes wrong again! Thanks for sticking around even though i seem to messing everything up lol.

Updates.
The one that was 11 days old that lost it's leaves has had it i think, just all brown and dryed up so i think i'm gonna take it out of my cab later. That's the end of my first two lowryder seeds then! 2 weeks and there both dead!

Some better news though the other two that i more resently planted are looking good well one of them is. Still only has one set of leaves but is looking a bit bigger and stronger than it was, took the clean film off that one, and all seems well it doesn't seem to be drying up the soil too fast which is good. The other one still hasn't sprouted but i can just see the top of the seed at soil level so lets hope this one takes off in the next few days too!

Temps are not looking to good again they have been at 80 all day and still are, and it's not even day time here at the moment so don't think it's the weather, will look into getting a better extractor fan i think cos i'm proberly going to need one at some point. I ordered another light last night so that should be coming in the next few days, decided to go with a bigger cfl since temps are an issue for me. Ordered 125 watt dual, red & blue spectrum cfl so hoping that will help them out a bit when it comes.

Will put pics up later as i still havn't got a new camrea yet and my phone is flat!

Updates-day 5.

Not doing too well at the moment! Was down to two now i think i'm down to 1! (see this thread for more details, https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/88663-wtf-happened-my-plant.html) Moving on the other one is doing good looking healthy can just see the start of another set of leaves coming though, had to water them again today due to my temps still being quiet high i think hope to sort that out soon though.

Pics, the first two pics are of my one that spouted a few days ago, and then a pic of the other as you can see still nothing! And finally them together.

After a long wait, well what seemed like a long wait my light and new bathroom fan finally came yesterday, had most of the cab ready for them by then so spent this morning putting the last bits together.

So now i have a pc exhaust fan for intake a 100mm bathroom extractor fan to extract the hot air. Only problem is fan a bit loud but hoping to find a way to make it a bit quieter! As for the lights well i'm not using any of the lights i had. Bought a new one. Now have a 125watt dual blue and red specrtrum cfl in my cab. Things looking gd so far only had it on about an hour and temps are doing a lot better than they where in my last cab there at 70 at the moment. Only thing i'm slightly worried about is the that they might out grow my cab, just have to wait and see i guess. Still plan on getting or making a carbon filter at some point but don't need one yet so worry about that later!

Will update about my grow later on when i have took pics of my baby.

On to the pics then here are some pics of my new setup, hope this is better than my last attempt!

That light looks a bit powerful to be that close. (I could be wrong, I'm still a newb but try to get another opinion) If you have a slightly dimmer bulb for the same fitting I would use that for the first week or two. It could just be the camera making the light look strong, it's almost impossible to tell in a photo
Looking good though Hmmm, you're definitely on the right track.
Nice one bro.

Do you really think so? Could really do with some advice cos i dunno how far away it should be really! Also i think the leaves are starting to go a bit yellow at the tips could that be cos the light is too close? Or something else? Any advice would be great, thanks.

Take it off that jar bro and just put it on the shelf
It might stretch a little but thats better than burning it
DONT use any nutes yet al all. The plant is way too young for nutes, make sur you let the water stand for at least 24hrs before you use it. If you have a pH test kit, test the pH of your water. If not, I would put about 4 drops of lemon juice in a 4 pint milk botle, 2 in a 2 pint etc, that will bring down the pH to more like 6. I mean literally drops, even half a teaspoon is way too much for 4 pints.
I fill up 4pint milk bottles with water and let them stand with the lid off for at least a day, usually 2 or 3.
Good luck Hmmm. Any questions just ask, I dont know much but will help you with what I do know

Updates day-11.
Not much to update really my plant is starting to get another set of fan leaves, bit concerned as the leaves are starting to go yellow at the tips don't know what that is about. Don't think my lights are too close since i moved the plant off the jar as suggested, temps are ok too been at 70 most of the time since i got my new fan, so don't have a clue what's happened to it! Hope it will be ok though maybe nothing to worry about, if anyone knows why this is happening and how to stop please let me no! Thanks.

You can see in some of the pics the yellow tint ot the leaves not very gd pics though as i took them with my phone. Finally got my cam working and the pics took with that where worse! Will try again when it's daylight taking a pic with my camrea see if it turns out any better.

Don't worry too much about the yellow tips as long as its getting just water,
The leaves look burnt either through nutes or because of the light. I think you know not to put any nutes in yet, now you have moved it away from the light you should be ok, it is possible the soil itself could be too strong as it will likely have ferts in it. Just keep an eye on it, as long as there are new leaves developing just leave it be.
Can you check your waters pH? If so, make sure it's below 7. You really want it about 6 to 6.5 I think is best.
Some people might advise to flush the soil but I would wait, that is a drastic measure and (from my own experience,) it slows down the plants growth.
keep an eye on the yellowing and see if it spreads to the next set of leaves. If it does, let us know.
Good luck Hmmm.

I do have a metre to check my ph but i have no idea how to read it! The instuctions that came with it where useless so i guess u could say i learnt my lesson with buying cheap stuff! lol.

LOL you and me both, I bought one that didnt work too!! Luckily its got a moisture meter on it too what I do use,
I've got the liquid one it only cost 4 quid, It doesnt check your soil but you can test the run-off when you water.
When my plants were that size I used to water once every 4 days or so. Just give it enough water for a bit to come out the bottom, Tip the run off away so the plant isnt sitting in the water, then wait until the soil is dry all the way or if the plant starts to droop, then water again the same way. When you get to a bigger pot, you will learn by the weight of the pot when it needs watering.
Youre doing ok
