So it was just yesterday that i gave my babys there first dose of calmag with their feeding and they already seem to be looking a lot better to me, what do you guys think does it look like its about time to break out the HPS and put my girls in flowering?

They are looking really nice now psilo. I would def flip them now. You will have alot of stretch to manipulate around and your screens are very full. Don't be afraid to cut some overgrowth out during the first 2 weeks of stretch. Keep trying to maneuver those outside edge branches out for the first 7-9 days then let them stretch some above the screen after that. By day 12 or so you want them about 4-6" above screen level. Training during the first bit of stretch will help keep that canopy even and avoid having some "long leggers" in the middle of your screen. Best to have your canopy in a bowl shape, slightly higher on the outside edges. This will allow you to keep your light at optimum distance.

Let the show begin man, give her 36 hrs of dark and get the orange light going. Can't wait! Peace

Thanks for the great advice man, I'm going to have to look into this 36 hrs of darkness thing, i take it you do it and get great results?

[edit] Seems legit, i just turned off the light an am going to wait 36 hrs for my flowering cycle to start...

I think that the dark period helps the pistils to show quicker. Could just be wishful thinking on my part, but this current grow I was showing pistils at 4 days after the dark period.

Cool man, plants are 2/3 the way threw the dark period, unfortunately i just realized for the second time in 2 grows i forgot to clone before i started flowering, i know its not a big deal but i did lose my last clones i attempted to reveg QQ.

I got a bit impatient with the 36 hrs of darkness thing so they only made it to 24 hrs of darkness because of scheduling conflicts, i also changed my bulb and I'm getting ready to clone them and get my veg cab going, they are looking a lot better since the cal mag I'm looking forward to seeing what they do next feeding.

Earlier today i went looking for suitable clone prospects and what i found was that most of the prospects were big branches that would be helpful in filling up my screen, a few weeks ago i decided to lollipop and i have come to find out that it was a bad idea not only because some of those branches could have grown to fill out my screen but because now i have few cloning prospects, i am wondering what i should do, should i cut a few side branches and hope they heal and catch up while i don't see flowers or should i wait a few weeks let them stretch and get the ones that don't look like they will do much in the flowering stage?

Look for some branches in the center of the canopy that may be closely packed together. I would leave the outer branches, many times these are the terminal ends of your main branches and will produce some of the best colas. If you do wait a couple of weeks you will have some revegging to do, althout 14 days or so is not bad.

Man 14 days of reveg does not sound bad to me at all specially considering my last attempted reveges were taken on harvest day and took a good long month or so to reveg, thats not including all my fuck ups, i think I'm gonna wait a bit to see what the stretch is like then select my clones...

Its getting hot here a day or 2 ago it got into record breaking triple digits in the middle of spring, luckily i set my lighting to shut off for hottest parts of the day when i started my flowering light cycle a few days ago, i have been contemplating buying a large exhaust fan to keep the house cool for most of the spring and summer season but considering what i just witnessed I'm not sure how well that will work, i've got central ac but last year the cost got astronomical so i've been wanting to avoid using it at all cost unless i have to... Just a few moments ago i was contemplating the situation thinking that cooling the house with a large exhaust fan would not work because i would just be pumping hot air into the house and this would not cool the plants, but i was just thinking about plants living out doors and contemplating the difference and what i remembered is that c02 is what allows the plants to thrive in very hot environment's and by bringing in massive amounts of air from out side i would be c02 enriching the air that my plants will receive with c02...

Any thoughts?

I have an idea for you. Could you possibly seal the vent for the room your gro is in, including both veg n bloom. That way your central air would only benefit the remainder of your house. For the room everything is in get a 5000btu AC and advust it to what is needed to maintain your ambient temps for both gro n bloom setups. If you kept the door closed to the room then your central air would only work off the rest of the house. Just an idea to start from. Peace!!

Your welcome I'm glad you enjoyed it, but sorry you had to read threw all of my fucks ups lol...

That could work unfortunately my grow cabs both exhaust to another room so air would constantly be pulled out of the room where the window ac was running.

So i flipped the switch 5 days ago and still no sign of flowers but they are stretching a bit i think, the Veneno is filling out the screen nicely and I'm sure it will be full by the end, the Burmese Kush though im not so sure.

Filling it out quite nicely but I'm wondering if i fucked up by not dropping down to 18/6 before trying to initiate flowering, I've still got no flowers but the odor is really starting to kick in and the stretch is some what in effect i believe.

You won't have any problems with Buku filling her screen. They are both looking really good. Buku is showing off those fat, dark green indica leaves. Outstanding!
