Hi, What you have identified is the dramatic change in temperature, the species can bronze and a normal response from the cold, but good eye. I would be bummed out if they were sick. Great question.

Ha! NC one of the largest producer of Christmas trees, actually a shortage this season. The picture is of a Layland Cypress hybrid. Big money, I have a soft spot for anything Green.
I used to grow Leland Cypress from seeds. Got to making too much money off my hobby and it got to be a job. {although most everyone wanted dogwood} They are under some hurricane blowdowns now, but still had lots of them that had outgrown their pots and are rooted in the ground.

Hi Larry! We grow a lot of different species, including Dogwoods. The nursery is very busy, we never have time to grow grow from seed. (Although this may change, folks with 1 gallon plants begging us to buy young trees and shrubs).
I grow from seed for this hobby alone lol.
Bruce Banner #3, Cheese and Afghan hash plant just sprouted.
My wife would be unhappy if I went large on my hobby. (Couple lbs slightly larger than a hobby ha!) Good luck to you Larry and enjoy my Birthday holiday!
