nice fill n drain. i used to have the same set up with those fence posts back in the day.. I had wooden horses instead.I like your stands more

Thanks guys.

@hyroot - the design works great, the only crappy part about mine is that the res is too small. Before I flower I'm gunna mod it as Stinkbudz does in his guide and add a bigger reservoir.

i just rocked a 18 gal rubbermaid underneath and ran black tubing from the bottom of post for draining and used those green drain plugs too. Then those little black elbows on the side of one end and attached black tubing to that and that would connect to the pump. i would run 3 posts to one resi. also gromets on the plugs and elbows to seal.

The one downside to that system is not to much area for the roots to get oxygen, but in your case I see you left some empy holes so that would help with airflow.

After that i switched to aero. i made with rubbermaids and pvc and a sprinkler. now i just do soil. i like it more

i give you props for going the macgyver route. Build your own

Alright, I'm back, I had a big move and it's caused me to have veg my plants for an extra month as I didn't want to move them as far as I did while they were in flower. They have now been in flower for 4 days and they're 50 inches tall at the moment (huge :P). I'll post some pics within the next few days.

So here's some pics, note that my plants took extensive damage during their move sadly but they're still looking pretty good. Also the camera that took the pictures doesn't do them justice, I'll try to find a digital camera to use for some better ones soon (especially when the buds start developing).

panda film is the same as mylar and is cheaper...look it up. im actually going to start lining up my walls today with it.

pretty much you're prob wondering why....well with mylar you get certain heat spots in random areas. with panda film its a smooth consistant reflectiveness with no heat spots.
