My First Grow with cfl's

Awesome man those buds look yummy for a bag seed. I can't wait till my plants start forming nugs. There got hairs popping out all over the place. They won't stop growing upwards though I might have to do a little tie down if they max out. I should of chopped the top before I went into flower. no big deal.

:leaf::leaf: It was about $200 for the fixture/ballast and the 270W 29,500L Son Agro Bulb was about $30. I looking online and found a 270W 35,000L Watt Son AgroMax bulb that emits 30% more blue spectrum for only $7. It is a little pricey but im gunna jump on that asap. :leaf::leaf:

Dr if your spending so much on lights bro you should of just sprung for the 400w and you wouldn't have to worry about getting alilite more for alittle more. you know. I'm ordering my tent and 400w mh hps system tommrow. how long you gonna go with her 10 weeks?

:leaf::leaf: Im not sure yet. Depends on how big the PPP gets in over the next 2 weeks. If my space permits me too i will go for 9 or 10 weeks. Im probably gunna be adding another hps like a hortilux but that won't be anytime soon. For now this 270 is plenty for me. :leaf::leaf:

im growing two trees about 3 feet tall with cfls im trying to figure out how much i should yield..check em out and let me know wat u think

looking nice man. nice to see you moved to a HPS hopefully you get some fat buds.. i got a sun agro bulb to it seems to do the job im looking at 3 maybe 4 oz off 4 plants 2 of them have really dense nugs.. keep it up

Wonderful job Doc!

I've read up on the thread and dig your setup. I'm fed up with the market these days so I've decided to grow. I'm going to try something simlar (CFL all the way) but with 4 Lowryder x Diesel.

I could go on and on with questions but mainly:
I'm unsure on how many watts to use and when per plant. I understand spectrums...just not how much wattage to put on the babies.
I like the nutes you use but am not sure on which nutes to use and when with autos.

Also, I'm not too good with electricity. Is it safe to have a dual bulb socket plugged into another dual bulb socket into a bulb socket? If so I'm down...just wondering.
