My first grow, White Widow Journal

Here’s how the two plants are doing at 45 days of age. They have filled my entire 4 x 3 cabinet up. 3EAD67C8-74B5-48DF-95F6-DB1767C18B19.jpeg

Being my first grow ever I didn’t know what to expect but so far so good. They are both starting to flower but the left one is behind of the right one by about 4 days.

I also bumped the Nova Bloom from 6ml/gal to 7ml. The left plant was a little too light in color and 7ml seem to have fixed the issue.

Looking good!

My guess is they are autos then? I am a week since flipping to 12/12 on my WW, yours looks like it will yield more than mine though, mine isn't nearly as filled out i don't think

Wow, even to the untrained newbie eye this is very impressive. Spectacular grow!

Could I ask which 1000w LEDs you're using and how high you had them in veg? Were they dimmed at all? Much appreciated in advance. Just trying to see what works for others vs. what articles say. Aware all plants are different...

Sorry for the late reply. The lights I’m using are these https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KR2S65L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Most people here in the forums don’t like the “blurple” lights but so far the grow has gone pretty good. These are full spectrum but I’m sure it’s not within the preferred ranges. Still have about 4 weeks til harvest so I’m curious to see what the yield will be.

These lights have 2 switches, veg and bloom, Veg being mostly blue light and bloom being mostly red. For the first 2 weeks I only used the veg light just out of precaution but after that I left both switches on. I started with a distance of about 28” and gradually brought it closer as the plant matured. Right now the lights are at 18-20 inches away and that’s where I’ll keep them for the rest of the grow.

So here she is as at 55 days of age.

The plant on the left is quite a bit behind for some reason. It’s still barely flowering and got lighter in color so I have to bump up the nutes on that one. I’ll take pictures of her later.

They're definitely not full blurples. A true full spectrum light should be more of less white in appearance, as the whole spectrum at once= white lights, just like white noise is all frequencies. These WW autos are looking good! How much longer do you plan to keep them going?- they're growing so fast :0

I got the seeds from ilovegrowingmarijuana.com and reading their reviews for the WW Auto I should have about another 5 weeks left or so. Some peoples are ready in 80 days some go up to 97, my plants are 56 today. Unfortunately, I don't have room left in the cabinet to start a perpetual grow so it's going to be really lonely once I chop the plants.

I've been learning a lot during this grow and I can only imagine that my second go at it should be better now that I know what to expect.

Today I placed a second net in order to even out the tops as much as possible. It’s a 6ft cabinet but I need 18”- 20” from the lights and the tallest cola was at about 14 inches from the light. I couldn’t pull the light any further up so I removed the pull rope and just attached it to the top using 3 carabiners.

It took me a few hours taking my time while hitting it as I went a long and I managed to bring things down by a bit with the net. Now the tallest colas are at 20”.

The plant on the right is in full flower mode but the plant on the left is still on pre-flower so I’m not sure if I’ll end up getting much of anything from that one. At this point she’s almost 2 weeks behind from the plant in the right in developing flowers but they are the same age.

The one on the right has some nice flowers and some of the buds are starting to look bigger and more trichomes are showing.

Right now the plants are looking a little bit disheveled from moving the canopy down but by next lights on everything should look beautiful.

So here are the latest pictures as of yesterday day 62.

The plant on the right is doing great and there are flowers and buds everywhere and they are getting denser and fatter by the day, the plant on the left is a dud. There are no flowers in sight, just growth, never ending growth.

I don’t have room at the moment for a perpetual growth so if within a week nothing happens to the plant on the left I may just take an axe to it and start 2 new plants.
