My first grow, White Widow Journal

Ok, so this is my very first grow ever. If at any point along the way you see me doing something wrong please let me know. I'm very new to all of this and although I've been doing my research, I have no experience. I've mostly been following an online guide from www.growpotcheaply.com, and advice from a buddy of mine that grows in coco.

I'm growing in coco, using CAL-MAG Plus, Root Excelurator Gold (for the first week), Flora Nova Grow (7-4-10), Flora Nova Bloom (4-8-7).
Using an RO water filter for my water source
I'm also using a 1000W LED Light with veg and bloom options, in a 4x3x6 cabinet I built.

I'm also testing the PH of my feed and making sure it stays around 5.8

I first planted the seed in a 2” damp Rockwool cube, I put a plastic bag over it and I placed it in a warm place. When it sprouted, I transplanted the 2” cube and placed it inside of a 4” Rockwool cube, and then I put that inside of a 2 gal fabric pot with coco husk.

The feeding for my first week consisted of 2ml of CalMag+ per gallon, .5ml of the root excelurator per gallon, and 1ml of Flora Nova Grow per gallon.

For the first week, I mostly fed where the rockwool cube was at, only a few ounces per day and I let the surrounding coco get dry.

7 Days of age. This is the last day I fed the plants the initial feed. At day 8 I adjust my feed remove the root excelurator.

At day 8, I updated the feed. Now I'm going 2ml of CalMag+ and 3ml of Flora Nova Grow. and also removed the root excelurator. For this first feed I made sure to get some decent runoff. Plants seem to be doing great. The plants are starting to blow up in size this week. (pictures range from 8 days old to 12 days old)

I went ahead and built a bigger cabinet for the plants. It's not finished in these pictures so I'll add more later. Age of plants in pictures starting at 12/13 days old until 15 days old.

Here is the finished cabinet. Don’t mind the mess. My rh was too low so I temporarily placed open containers to bring it up to 50%. I also reconnected that duct. I will be adding a second fan tomorrow

Hope mine is looking good in a short while. Got my second leaves coming through now.

Here is how the plants are doing at 19 days of age.

Looking good! Mine got a bit too much of something, but she is ok now. The stalk on yours looks nice and thick for that age

My first LTS is stressing me out... not perfect but I think it will do the job.

The plants at 26 days since popping. Time to do a bit more defoliating.

The babies at 27 days of age. Soon I’ll be switching and bumping up my 3ml/g of Nova grow to 6ml/g of Nova bloom. The plants at this point measure over a foot long.

Here are the plants at 33 days since popping. Trying out the scrog net I had. They are growing quite nicely and so far I haven’t had a single issue. It’s going to be more complicate to defoliate or do maintenance if needed but I wanted to try it.

Looking good! I missed the updates for a bit for some reason. My WW is doing pretty good, I just flipped yesterday.

It’s starting

The plants at 39 days of age. Since they are beginning to flower I went ahead and gave them their first feeding of Cyco Potash.

Now there are a few differences betweenboth plants in the cabinet. The one on the left is on a 2 gal pot, the one on the right I transplanted to a 3 gal pot a while back. The one on the right is growing bigger because of the pot size. Also the plant on the left is slightly lighter in color than the one on the right. Not sure what that’s all about since I feed them identical. So far both plants are healthy but I just wanted to note the differences.
