Well i just got done foliar feeding my plants with Epsom salts and it looks like i got this Epsom salts just in time because my white Russian has started doing the same thing as my blue cheese, i really hope this is the problem i don't want to lose a months worth of work and if this isn't the problem i dunno what is.

WEll i tried wraping the sides with saran wrap to stop the water from by passing the soil and it helped a bit but i believe the run off test are still not accurate i watered with ph 7.0 water with 2 tsp of Epsom salts and the run off came out as 6.8 on both plants, last time i watered the run off came out the same as the water i put in it at 7.0. I still had a bit of leakage most of the run off was clear not the dirty brown that i am used to with normal air pots, i really do think that i had just enough water run straight threw to bump me up .2-.3 points which would have me sitting at 6.5-6.6, which should be fine, if i am correct that i should be balancing ph according to the soil parameters not hydro.
Its been a day since i foliar feed and i haven't noticed any changes yet but i probably messed up by not spraying the under side of the leaves, i just got done watering with Epsom salts though so we will see what they are looking like in a few days.

Ya, I'd give it a few days. Soil takes abit to see any changes, Hydro shows those changes a lot faster. Hope the epson fixes the problem as those plants look nice aside from the issue at hand. Peace!

I got the soil recipe from rumpleforeskin on grass city, some people from here have told me that its bad but I'm not so sure if i believe them, rumple said he used it for years with little to no problems and he is a pretty highly respected grower on grass city so i don't really think he would have steered me wrong.

I'm pretty sure nobody would personally steer anyone wrong. Maybe left some ingredients out. Didn't mix in correct order or let it cook long eno. I don't know organics so just saying. Not taking jabs at ya, just trying to wrap my head around what is wrong and try to help you fix it. Gotta hit it at all angles and we can pretty much say it is a mag deficiency. What gets me is they were growing so nice and lush, so what happened? Maybe the epson salts that your pretty sure didn't get added to the mix was needed and shouldn't have been left out. If you can ask the person that made the soil mix, is still around, should ask them if they know a way to fix the problem. They'd prolly know best or anyone who has tried to modify this soil mix. If anything comes to mind I will send it your way, Peace!!

The Video shared Exactly what I needed to know. I Started my seeds in Coco, they're 2 weeks now and have Taco Leaves :???: Heading to the Garden Store tomorrow to Get Some Magnesium Sulfate.

Yeah the video is pretty informative i found out a lot of stuff i didn't know from watching it, I'm glad that the video helped you out i hope it does the same for me.

Well its been 3 days since i watered the plants with 2 tsp of Epsom salts and things seem to be getting a bit better, the growth had bogged down for quite a while but now it seems to be picking back up, the rapid spread of the yellowing also seems to have slowed down if not stopped completely, i picked off most of the severely effected leaves so i could see if it was continuing and while i do see it in some places i am not sure if it is new or if they had been like that. The leaves also seem to be canoeing a bit less than they were before and the tips don't seem to be curling up ward as they were before, i have noticed some yellowing on the upper growth but i believe that to be caused by my failed first attempt at foliar feeding, well anyways I'm off to get some molasses so i can water today.

Keep on them with those Epson salts. Maybe next time don't leave anything outta the recipe. If it calls for it, make sure it is in the list :P Glad they have started to come around. Look forward to seeing what u can do with the ladies :) Peace!!!

Yeah i dunno how i managed to forget to add them, and they were on the list lol just not in the mix.

Well its been about a day since i watered and i hope i am not just seeing what i want to see but it seems like the plants are really tuning around, before this problem started when ever i watered i would always get a pretty decent growth spurt at least an inch or so, but for the past 2 or so weeks that this has been going on it seemed that there was very little vertical growth even after watering, after watering last night with 1 tsp of Epsom salts and 1 tbsp of molasses the blue cheese seems to have shot up 1 or 2 inch's so i am hoping that this is a sign that things are getting better, if things continue at this rate and the yellowing stops it should be time to flip the switch soon.

Well its been a few days since i posted pics so here is the update, the stem of the white Russian is almost entirely back to green except for a few side branches, the leaf tips have also stopped burning and curling up and growth rate seems to have resumed back to normal, the blue cheese has no more canoeing leaves, the stem is still purplish but seems to be getting lighter and the leaf tips have stopped burning and curling upwards, the growth rate also seems to have returned back to normal on this one as well. However i am not positive but it seems to me that the yellowing is still continuing although at a much much slower rate, i really hope it goes away completely because i want every thing to be perfect before i flip the switch to start flowering and if the growth rate keeps going at this pace it will be soon.

Your Bluecheese is looking a LOT better than previously. It's a top notch taste at the end too. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Yeah the aroma of the blue cheese is quite distinct, when i rub the stems and smell my fingers it has got a very sweet and skunky smell to it, its to bad that I'm probably gonna end up water curing both of these plants, i think I'm gonna dry a bit of each of them normally so i can taste the full flavor of each of the plants.

Yeah they have been looking a lot better and growing a lot better, sadly though i think i either have another deficiency on the way or the old deficiency is spreading to the younger leaves of the plant, i found these leaves on the younger growth of my white Russian today. I found this video and some of the symptoms seem similar like, interveinal chlorosis of the younger leaves, small leaves, and white or yellowing leaf tips, but I'm not sure only time will tell i guess.

Well that sux. I reread your thread and I think going organic for your first grow will have its problems. Only thing u can do is read up on the forums or threads of the soil mix u used. Reason for that is because u don't want to start adding to many other things to try to fix problems and then in turn create more problems else-where. I hope u can get it under control as it's always a shame to watch a grow go to shit. That being said, your deficiencies are minimal as your still getting growth and they aren't dead. Peace!!
