My crop, have questions

I tie red or green ribbons, to what I suspect is male or female. Some I can't tell. But the green ones (suspected males) I watch more closely. I don't pull until I'm sure.

I have more than 25 plants, most are over 4' tall, some are seven or so, and every day I go over every plant, everywhere, with a magnifying glass. My back is killing me! :-)

Kill the males, KILL THEM ALL!

This is of the plant I pulled yesterday. It had several of these scattered about it, I don't pull until I'm sure. The balls were on stalks. It's hanging as I have a lot of plants, the leaves may go into butter.
Perfect. It looks like you have a pretty good understanding. It will get easier after this season.

To clear one thing up, males and females both get that little green wispy thing at the "crotch" of the branch. If you see a tear drop shaped green thing next to it with the fuzzy little white hair coming out; that is the female parts. The calyx and pistil.

Yeah the key is waiting just a bit to make sure. I had a friend that would pull almost everything because he wouldn't wait till it fully formed. He still doesn't believe me but i know he pulled several females too.
That's too funny. Patience is the key to being a good grower.

The stems on several are turning a wine color, and the plants are growing like the weeds they are.
nice purple stems I also have a couple with that and on the fan leaves stems, I think its cuz the variety will have purple colors at harvest :)

They are bag seeds from a Maui Waui and Afghan something grow, my friend's first grow in Colorado and she didn't catch the male. But I caught the seeds. :-)

Beautiful! The leaves on mine are green still, and I know they're healthy... Seven feet tall and still growing rather rapidly, they are happy weeds!

Just wish my tomato plants would look that happy.…

As Mama said, pistils and calyxes are easy to differentiate from new growth.

Green leafies are prividing you with more branches while the bulbs and hairs are providing bud sites.

Im confused... Maybe simply because I read the first page and found nothing of issues.. So thus maybe I missed something? First off, the first few pics I saw, were female. Other than that, not sure what your issues or questions are? So far looks awesome bro! Although I gotta say, give it more time to show it's sex... Those pics looks like it just started and could in time end up to be a male.. So give it more time to show the pistols or them balls, if your as meticulous with that magnifying glass as you say you are, you will notice those males LLLOOOONNNNGGG before they pop open to pollinate. Other than that lookin sexy!

I'm not a "bro"...

Well I have caught two males so far, I would just like to get them all ID'd before I leave. (Taking a cross country motorcycle trip) My boyfriend will try, I showed him the male I pulled up. Right now it looks like I have more females than males, which would be just fine, but it's still early I guess. I hope they show in the next week or two, before I leave.

Ah my apologies, not to often I come across a female grower. Nothing wrong with it, just saying.
Anyways, that is a gamble... If you end up leaving and don't get all the males in time, you could come back to a crap load of seed and no buds :(. There's really nothing you can do except wait for them to show sex and pull the males, leave the females. Other than that, your on mother natures time..
