I had two things in my favor when we divorced.
1) We were both decent sorts.
2) She made the money.
Were I ever to enter into a marriage situation, if I had anything to protect, I'd broach the subject with my intended. While I have great respect for love painting things rosy ... how she'd react to a pre-nup would be the acid test.
Not much more likely, but a guy can dream, no? If she were the rich one, I'd sign any half-reasonable pre-nup. Marrying me isn't the same as giving me carte blanche to strip-mine her. Her accounts ... she'd better be pretty cool about me stripping her every so often ... cn
