Btw i was looking at the pics again and i looked like the new growth on some plants was discolored . i could be seeing wrong but if thats the case your problem is still there and you can't send em to flower yet . well you can . just your yield might suffer

Well after feeding I seen that I gave them a little to much fertilizer.I went by there chart this time.Next watering I'm going back to 1/2 strength and light flush.....

I did see that^ but it's on some of my 2 week old growth?I don't see my old growth dying no more too.New growth looks good from what I see.

true true, and also i consider my self a rather paranoid person. thats why i could never work with nutes, ad spiral out of control every time i see any abnormalities :wall:

thanks^

Defiantly a budget grow.I would like to get a ph pen, but they want $70 out the door for one.

Just going to buy a $7 dollar ph/wet probe, and $8 for a water ph kit.

My thinking is after a few time I will not need it any more after I get better at soil growing.

just FYI, i have never in 2 years adjusted (or checked for that matter) Ph one time EVER. ever .ever i swear, it still grows dank but i guess it depends on the cities water too =)

yeah I dont fuck with pH either. i think PPMs are a lot more important to monitor, as long as you know you are starting with clean, pure water. i got my EC-3 meter for 20 bucks. It reads the 'water hardness' or the electrical conductivity of the water and you convert it to ppm. done like dinner

pH does not need to be checked on your water because your soil buffers it anyway to the proper pH needed to absorb the nutes, the only reason you should pH water is if your soil is shitty and doesnt buffer most soil contains domolite lime and oyster shell which help stabilize the pH between 6.5-6.8 I believe. And when you use nutes it adjust your pH also...

The only issue ive had is my tap water had waaaayyyyy to much Ca in it and it locked out Mg... I dont have any filters not even water softner so my shits hard... referring to the water lol..

yup same here in cen Cali-Hard water!Well I didn't get a ph water tester, because I knew what jojo said was true, but did get a soil ph probe. My soil is a round 6.8-7 not good for my plants! What can I use to to low my soils ph or should I make my own soil?

Thinking a soils mix will work great with my nutes??

I know the peat mos will help lower my ph?

So after I get my light cost of my grow will go to $290.

i think 7 is a little high but not to bad. well with 1000 w it should be a lot more, but its easier to figure out , just multiply your areas tariff by 24 then by 30 ,
