My 2w seedlings are too small, yellow, dry.. let's try to save them

Hey guys I have some 2w old seedlings my first seedlings ever.. and some newer ones.. the old ones are so yellow and dead.. i don't know what to do..

The propagation medium is coco and I kept them in a mini greenhouse.. with temp 25 C and 90% humidity..problem is i keep them in the same greenhouse with some clones and I have used to spray the clones with water (normal tap water nothing added) and sometimes I sprayed the coco of the seedlings too.. What should I do to make their lives less miserable? I'm worried my other seedlings will get the same way too and that would be not cool..

Plant the green ones still standing into a pot with only 2-3 cm of stem above the ground, and put the lights closer.

Noham hit it dead on....those stems are wayyyyy to stretchy. Put the lights a lot closer. If you are using CFLs you can place them 1-2 inches away

Yup.. Definitely a good start.

Not to insult you but if you are struggling with identifying your sprouts stretching I don't think it's a good idea for you to have so many sprouts. We're all guilty of wanting to grow the most etc. . Reality is more plants more work etc. .

I also might add that seedlings do not like coco unless everything is perfect. So start in a seed starting mix....

Dude, they need more light. If and when I have this problem, I bury the stems deeper and give then more light. Happy Growing ;-)_~

Thanks alot guys.. I've moved them and buried them deep.. the problem is I've had them in a dome, and I guess that was the big problem?

Should I start my 600W HPS? I have a cooltube..

I would wait on the 600 unless you lower the output of the light. 600 is pretty strong for those little guys

Most have answered your question, you're not giving you seedlings enough light, lower the light as close as possible without burning them, personally I never spray my seddlings or plants, remove the dome, they need to breath and make sure there is constant air circulation with a small fan for now, are you feeding them a diluted solution of nutes?

But! Be very sure the air is humid enough or they will suffer.

A 23w cfl bulb would do it until you get more and/or build a vegetation chamber and choose what light you want to veg with. -Just because honestly, I don't think cfls are good for how many plants you may have.

Get a better dome. or put it into an enclosed grow space so they won't dry out too much.

Guys I'm desperate.. I've moved them and they didn't do anything in 3 days.. they're just sitting there getting dry..

u need more humidity i think. what i usually do around this time is put serand wrap over the top and keep it moist for the first few days until they start doing its thang. keep misting, dont let them get dry right now.

okay i just went back and actually read your thread more thoroughly. at this point i would just keep them moist, and make sure the light is in an nice range (close enough but not feeling the heat). did u water your soil before transplanting them?

Yea i've watered the soil but only with tap water.. I didn't even lower the PH to 5.8-6 and no nutes.. could that be a problem?

Definitely not, at this stage. Just plant another if you have more seeds. I had one seedling doing the same, just drying out not growing anything for 1.5 weeks. It had roots, water in the soil... my only bet was low humidity - it was hard and dry to the touch.
Maybe put the most transparent plastic bag over it and mist it, but I think if it starts drying out (the seedling itself) it has no hope left.
