My 1st grow!!

Ok, well here it goes. I've got an indoor grow space, closet, 5'w x 4'w x 8'h. Mylar on the walls, question: should I put a sheet of mylar on floor to reflect light Back up, doesn't happen in nature but thought it might be beneficial for the plants. I'm running an led light 1200 Philzon full spectrum with veg and bloom switch. 1060 PAR @ 12", 650 PAR @ 18", and 530Par @ 24". Right now I've got some pepper and tomatoe seedlings that are between 4 to 6 inches tall, I've got my light at 36" for them and the seem to be to really well, by the way I'm growing them in rockwool and hand water them. On a 18/6 schedule for now.

For this grow I've got bag seeds that I've gotten to sprout today in a jiffy starter in humidity dome. Question 2 : how long should I leave in the jiffy propagate before putting into its permanent home, which Is 5 gallon plastic planter bucket filled equal parts mixed, organic garden soil, coco coir and unfortunately miracle grow perlite, i tried to avoid MG but had no other option. Now the soil and perlite are slightly charged with nutes, so i shouldn't have to feed for a few weeks.

Well that's where I'm at. Any gurus or wise men out there that can help keep me in line and on the path to righteousness, please follow and feel free to speak your mind, my ears are always open. Thanks and looking forward meeting a lot great people.

I would pull the dome off soon. Week or so. Those things keep the peat plugs pretty wet in my experience. I don't use them anymore. You're just waiting on that thing to grow some roots so you can transplant. It will happen faster if your medium can dry a bit.

Ok as of this morning my tap root has grown through bottom of the plug and is about 2 inches long, the seedling stretched on out and the stem got kinda freakishly long. So I went on and put her, I hope, in her permanent home.

Yeah once the seed pops up I try and set the dome a little askew so fresh air can circulate for 30 to hour bout 2x a day. So basically when I see roots coming out the peat pellet, is a good time to transplant? Also the plant is so fragile still I dont want to hit with too much light, should i place a make shift dome over it for a day or so, making sure to give fresh air, couple a time a day, or should I just put under the led at about 40 in and rock on?

I also wanted to add that I have Humboldt secret Golden Tree, A +B, and plant enzymes. Does anyone have any experience with these nutes and are they quality?

I would go with the led hung high.

Moved my lights up, the seedlings started to stretch and get lanky so I moved the light back down a little to stop them from stretching so much. Other than that all seems to be going good so far.
