My 1st Grow. White Widdow in a bubbler

Heres some pictures of the buds.







Are they looking good? Anyone got an estimation of how long before Harvest? Im thinking 3-4 weeks.. Is that accurate?

Nice pics, the buds look nice but they have a ways to go yet.

I added 3000 Lumens of 6500K CFL, for a little more spectrum. I am now up to 25,000+ Lumens all CFL. If my math is correct, I still dont have nearly enough for a 4x4 tent.

If I wanted to add what is needed with LED, how many watts would I need? I know I need to pay attention to watts being drawn rather than the total of LED watts.

I get so confused reading about LED panels. Ive heard 300w LED can replace 600w HID. Is this correct? The math doesnt add up to me.

Am I way off thinking I need more watts? Is 25,000 Lumens enough?

It wont cause any shock, will it?

Looks like she really took off on ya. 600w won't shock the garden if you keep it a couple feet up at first, then gradually drop it. I switched from 400w to 1000w awhile ago, gradually dropped and it didn't phase 'em at all.

this is totally off topic but...I was looking at your pot. is that a bucket? can you explain why you have it like that and what it does? why do you have it wrapped in duct tape? What is that on top? is that read top the actual bucket lid? did you cut a hole in the lid and put a pot in the hole? These sound like silly questions but I'm a newb and your bucket is intriguing.

Its just a bubbler hydroponics bucket. Home depot bucket, net pot, air stones and air pump, fish tank water pump.

I duct tape the bucket because it stops some of the light from going into the bucket which is suppose to be bad for the roots and light also makes algae grow. So its just to block light.
A hole cut in the lid with a net pot. Plant in a rockwool cube and the rest of the pot filled with hydroton balls.

I have 2 air stones connected to a double air pump used for fish tanks, the air stones are in the bucket bubbling the water keeping O2 for the roots.
The water pump cycles water from the bucket up to the pot and pours the water down the roots and keeps water flowing continuously.
Thats it for my bucket. There are much better ones out there.

Not silly questions at all. There is actually a forum topic DWC/RDWC on RIU that is all about this style of hydroponics.

Dub, that's a fine system.

Even better if you used an outboard rez, which would allow for growing more plants

This is my 1st Grow. I am close to harvest, and I am now noticing little balls on the stems below the buds. Are they more flowers? Or did I Hermie it?
I sure hope its not Hermied!

There is no bananas that I can see

There is a ball at the base of every bud. I cant get a good picture for some reason. Is it possible its just another bud growing???

Any help?

If I dont get a response saying they arent pollin sacks, I am harvesting tomorrow.
