Hey all!
Some good news and bad news, i checked the trichs and the la cons are going to be coming down soon. the og 18 and sleestack still have a shit ton of clear trichs which is fine because the buds are getting fat as hell.
unfortunately however, one of the sleestacks that had a bud touching the wall has a serious aphid problem. right at the spot where it was touching was a massive amount of black and green aphid looking things that were chilling on a leaf and going into the bud. i didnt find any other massive herds just a few here and there but i decided to spray the whole thing down with mighty wash to be safe. thank god i didnt notice any on the other plants next to it. right now its sitting outside the cab and drying off from might wash spray. going to wait till it dries then check it before i put it back
here is the infested sleestack. was doing really well...

Hey Alex, I hate liking posts that have to do with bugs, but good luck with those little bastards and the LA Con too. New VIPAR site coming soon I heard, with lots of panel data and updated panels too. Interesting thing a support guy from there said that the new panels that include Warm Whites are not really for MMJ grows but for other plants that struggle in just R+B light.

Wow, thats an interesting piece of info, thanks for the heads up! i wonder how the new panels are gonna be spectrum/mmj wise? i think i'm gonna get my hands on them!
Not to stressed about the bugs, that mighty wash has served me really well in the past, and everything else is perfect!

Been wanting to for a while now but its still cloudy all over. im going to wait a little longer. both the supersoil version and the maxibloom are smaller than the one big one i grew last round. although i think it is only because that one had a much bigger root structure when it went in and this round lived in a much much colder climate. the supersoil version this round however is definitely the frostiest with the strongest smell and is still a bit thicker looking than the maxibloom from this round.
next round im using more supersoil in the 1 gallons and vegging for at least 4 days

11L pots is better man 2 gals and some kind of root booster will see to it that you plants do everything they can in the short time they have Fulvic acid is pretty good for speeding things up right away.

right on! i was hoping to use some roots excelurator or a bunch of the other similar products i have lots of samples of(start boost/rapid start/root rush). the only thing is i will probably have to top if i veg for a bigger container as these tiny ass og 18 clones that barely had roots popping out the cube are just a few inches from my max panel height. thats why im thinking 2 gallons might be too big, however, the la con barely has any stretch so it may be worth an experiment to try. thanks for the tip about fulvic acid, i think i have some samples of that as well i should use!

Veg up then take clones then when you re-pot you can put the plant deeper so you get an older plant but it`s shorter and you get some free clones out of the whole thing.

trying to avoid the hay smell because these plants have a serious fucking aroma! the og 18 is almost like this crazy berry fruity like sweet smell that is super mouth watering and the sleestack is suuuuper skunky smelling. after 30 minutes of thinking i honestly cant find the words to describe how the la con because it is truly a unique smell to me! way more powerful smelling than the batch i grew last round.

I built a nice little screen to help out with some of the clones that i am giving some veg time. in a few days i will be adding some more la confidentials and og 18 x skunks. right now its just an og that i added 2 days ago and the party cups.
i also will be putting 2 la confidentials that arent going to be too big and to the side of the screen, i plan on spraying one with some colloidal silver i am currently brewing up and pollinating the other a long with one og 18 branch. the plan is to let the sprayed plant sit in the flower cab and then as soon as the male flowers are ready move it to the veg cab where it will live long enough to collect pollen from and manually pollinate the other plants.
