I'm serious. I know what the gas lantern routine is. I'm just saying its called that because they actually used gas lanterns to interrupt the dark period when it first started being used.

Yeah I usually do sumthin similar to mainlining...This plant has had less training than any plant I've ever grown...I'm happy w how she's turning out...

So I had to go bk to work today...B gone a couple weeks so updates n pics may b fewer n further between for a minute...
I adjusted the lights n have the closet set up where basically all my girls gotta do is water as needed...She can also adjust lights if needed cause the plants still in stretch mode but I gave it some breathin room so should b good for at least a few days...
Under normal circumstances I'd never let anyone care for or baby sit my plants...But bills gotta b paid and I'm not growin for a living...Yet...Ha...That's my long term goal but that's a bit down the road....
She's a very intelligent intuitive girl who follows instructions well plus has her own good judgment n common sense...She's been learning along the way w this grow...It's the first time she's ever been around a plant but she cared for it first couple weeks and did well... Adjusted lights as needed and successfully learned to water which is more than I can say for most new growers...I showed and explained to her exactly how to feed the plant if needed... Probably won't need it but jus in case I tried to cover all bases... Feeding/watering/lights/fans/opening n shutting closet doors accordingly as lights go on n off...She understands what's goin on n I'm confident she'll do well n I'll come bk home to a beautiful plant bout 3weeks into flowering...Of course ima harass her for pics daily so I will b posting some updates as we move along into this grow...

1st day gone b she's already sent pics...She's such a Sexy on point lil apprentice...
If u don't have a girl that's cool w ur garden I highly suggest it...Idk bout y'all but I keep what I do in my closet Top Secret...The only ppl I get to share w is u guys on here...It's cool to have a partner that's down with what u do n takes an interest in it...She don't even smoke...Used too n may again one day but not currently...

Knock on wood...... I'm 100% on Bagseed n Reg seeds sprouted n grown bein Female... Honestly I kinda dig fkn w these Bagseeds...I like the surprise that comes along w it...I have at least 200 seeds stocked up...Ain't no tellin what kinda genetics are in there...So far so good tho...if I fkd w cloning I woulda def kept a cut of this one I got goin now

So in 42days she's went from the seedling pictured below to what she is currently...
That's impressive growth...24 hr light schedule until last week when flipped to 12/12... CFLs...I mix my own soil using organic nutrients only...Tap water only so far this grow...

Hell yes man. Can't wait to see her mature. I'm having to downsize from 6*6 1200 watt to 3*3 idk lights yet. So it's nice to see good looking small grows. I like to keep plant count down as well. It's cool your lady is caring for your baby while your gone. Been trying to get mine to that point. Happy growing

I see you are using some LED bulbs....what is your opinion of their performance compared to the CFL's

2 years ago I purchased LED bulbs (see pic), but back then it was hard to find 100 watt equivalent and they were stupid expensive, so I used the 60 watt equivalent. They performed okay for only being 60 watts (9.5 watts actual) but had their limitations

The 100 watts A19 are common now and are much more reasonably priced, especially the non-dimmable type (14 watts)...I used a couple this year in my veg room and I'm rather happy with them.

They're the 100watt equivalent...They seem to b doin well...I jus gotta few mixed in there... First time using em...Same as u...Too expensive before but now they're cheaper...I'll continue to use em n may even add more next round...

End week two of Flowering...She hasn't stretched like I expected...Which is OK...She's def Sativa leaning...I'm thinkin she may b more than a 8-9 week flowering cycle...Seems like she's taking her sweet time...We'll see...

yeah, they are a bit cheaper now but still more than CFL's ...but the LED have a longer usable lifespan
