Ya buddha is 14-17 weeks.. well atleast this pheno .. I will probably only grow 1 every 6 months or so for personal smoke.. I love the taste and high .. Its more of a special treat :)
 
What is the downside if any when you go to flower from seed? What about LSTing and Fimming the crap out of them during the first 20 days 10 being in veg then into the flip can we not control the height in that manor? Just asking because I have some SLH and another sativa or two beans and I would truly love to get them into the mix. How do the sativa stack up to Indicas when it comes to cloning? Of course will the LED not cause super short node spacing just as it does with the Indica types? Please bear with me as I have no experience yet I have a pretty good green thumb.
 
Im sure the SLH can be trained out with no problems... I would lst .. I should of done it with the buddha girl when she started to stretch.. but we just had my daughter that week I put her into flower.. so she can grew out of control.. For the first two weeks I would just keep pulling her down with lst .. then you would be fine :)..
 
So with the long bloomers would it pay big dividends to go with say a 7 or ten gallon medium base (soil) since there will be a vastly longer flowering period or does that really have no effect on size when we use the LST and Fimming and all the other assorted tricks?
 
Watch out still pondering containers and root balls. Would most say that round containers are more useful than square ones and if so which are preferred and are the roots effected differently that anyone has noticed. Oh and I just did my first graft today in my sig.
 
ive used a few odd shaped containers. never really seen a difference though. i think i would prefer square pots in a space limited situation. gives you an extra inch or 2, while maintaining the same capacity.

other than that... i'd go with whatever's cheaper. (round in my experiences)
 
Thats what I had to do for some of my plants. Had to take some of my grandma's old pots just so I could pot everything... lol

Something great for veg. cut the top off a gallon jug, cut some holes in the side for aeration. I also veg 1-2 weeks in plastic cups. Reusable, and cheap if you break a few.
 
Cool still learning the benefits of go large and a few or go small and many with my setup will iron the cycles out at some later point in time I hope.
 
I used to prefer the large and few thing.. but now im liking the 3 gallon bags.. put em in at about 12-18 inchs and 9 per a 4x4 area.. seems to be working great :)
 
Thats What Im currently doing for this next run through. the 3 gal bags. cheap at .30/ea and work great... dont know why i didnt suggest those... haha!

Heres the Purple Kush before I cut her ... She filled in OK .. she doesnt really get big colas.. just chunky individual buds.... Hope she dries and cures up nice :)

Heres the buddha in my shower last night..Day 55 or so WISH i didnt have to knock her main colas over... she would of had massive ones.. but this plant is for personal .. SO im still happy how she is coming along .. she still has about 30 days to go though LOL... :) And she smells so sweet and frosty :)

all the new genetics are looking good.. ill update those once they start going off real nice.. the two querkles are filling in nice as well.. jeeze I love those genetics :)

Ya shes all buds .. lol no leaves .. You can really see the Thai and Jamaican coming out in her .. I just wish I didnt have to supercrop those colas over because if all those buds would of grow vertically .. I would of had some 2 ft colas lol... O well shes for my wife and I anyhow ..
