When using techniques to increase overall yield, such as scrog or the bending method to get more top colas. my question is will these reduce potency are weaken the plant?

true that socom... training the plant doesn't reduce potency but does increase yields. Cannabis is a beautiful plant that way. you can twist it into any shape and it will just grow and grow.

big bud is a classic choice. I got 100g per plant on my first scrog under a 1000W HPS. I can't wait to sex my indicas. :joint:

looks like spider mites to me. unfortunately, I know how they look. check the under site of the leaf for a translucent arachnid. do you have any magnification, like 30x or better?

hey bro can u check my grow and tell me if you know what my problem is?

I can't tell if it has helped much with the plants that are almost finished flowering. I have another round that is a few weeks into flowering and they look better. The budsites are developing well but I think I need more time to tell if it helps. It certainly hasn't hurt.

how is reducing the fert working?

Hey bro. Just spent the last few hours reading both your journals. My growing method is different from yours, but I've had some experience with Mother's Finest.

My dealer was lucky enough to trade 1/4 oz of buds for 4 Sensi Mother's Finest seeds and the original packaging (he collects them). Two of them were males, and he grew them long enough to take pollen. The two females were flowered from the get-go, and after they were done they were successfully regenerated and both now serve as proud mother's to hundreds of clones each month.

Both of the plants displayed more of the indica phenotype that Sensi talks about.

A while ago, he left me alone in the flowering room and I took a couple of pics with my cel phone. He had a batch of Mother's Finest clones that he flowered right after they rooted. He recently gave me the final numbers for them and it was a little over a pound on a 1000w HPS.

Here's a pic of that batch at day 44:

They look very healthy. Even though this has more of an indica pheno, it takes a fucking long time to finish. The end product is second to none, though, so growing it a few times to try the buds is well worth the extra couple of weeks.

This time around, he let the clones veg about 3-4 weeks, and they were huge when moved to the flowering room. So we'll have to see how big they get.

This is a pic of the mother plant.

These are 40 clones that have been vegging for 12 days under a 400w MH. This is how they looked when I got them. There's also some BigBud and White Berry seeds to the right. Finally something to talk about!

I think you still have to give your plants more time. Also, maybe this is not the right strain for your growing method? Finally, I also think your BigBud seeds will also be hermies because the mother had hermie genes (ie, didn't turn hermie because of stress). If I were you I'd just let it go and get myself a new string to play with.

Good luck and all the best with this and your future grows. +rep for a wonderful job!

thanks for stopping by my thread :) You aren't kidding that Mother's Finest takes forever to finish. I am on day 67 of flowering and I think they still need another week to finish up. Some of the buds are getting dense but others are still a little light weight and need more time.

I am experimenting with different techniques for the Mother's Finest. I think my setup would have worked better with less vegging time. I have another batch of Mother's Finest started now. I flowered them as clones, lets see how they work out as spears.

As far as the Big Bud... the seeds will either be genetic hermies or true females. I have two seedlings that I am waiting to clone and sex.

Here are some pics from today.
