In the daisy cloner I use GH Flora Series 2.5mL of each one (grow, micro & bloom) it measures around 6 CF. That lasts about a week and then I top it off with RO water until I transplant them at around 14 days.

I get 100% rooting on my cuttings. The daisy cloner is great. I use a cloning gel that I leave the clonings in for around 30 seconds. The bottom inch of the cutting I scrape before the gel.

thanks for checking out my grow. its great to share ideas.

Im using clonex gel but im switching to an all organic gel. What did you use in the resivoir? I just want to have clones that will grow. I have about 25 orangebud cuttings which are stunted and yellowing. Thats pretty much my experience with cloning so hopefully the daisy will give me some healthy growing clones. Whats been your success rate tus far?
And I was asking about how many weeks until full maturity? I grew an unknown sativa and it looked like your plants do at thier age. How tall will they get? Your doing a great job by the way.

Conductivity Factor. The meters read EC/CF/PPM

.1 EC = 1 CF = 50/70 ppm

What is the difference between PPM, EC, TDS, DS and CF?

What is the difference between PPM, EC, TDS, DS and CF?
EC, TDS, DS, CF, PPM, Excerpted from Chapter Five, Indoor Marijuana Horticulture, The Indoor Bible

EC, TDS, DS, CF, PPM
Pure distilled water has no resistance and conducts no electrical current. However, when impurities are added to pure distilled water, it conducts electricity. Your water analysis will indicate the impurities or dissolved solids found in household tap water. These impurities conduct electricity. For instance, when you add fertilizer to pure water, the EC climbs.

TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids. This is just one of the ways to arrive at EC, Electrical Conductivity. EC is the most consistent measure of gross nutrient solution strength.

Nutrient (salt) concentrations are measured by their ability to conduct electricity through a solution. Dissolved ionic salts create electrical current in solution, the main constituent of hydroponic solutions is ionic salts. Several scales are currently used to measure how much electricity is conducted by nutrients including: EC = Electrical Conductivity, CF = Conductivity Factor, PPM = Parts Per Million, TDS = Total Dissolved Solids and DS = Dissolved Solids. Most American growers use PPM, to measure overall fertilizer concentration. PPM is not as accurate, nor consistent as EC, to measure nutrient solution strength.

This may be a dumb question but I cant seem to figure out what CF means.

Looks like there done stretching, time for the buds to fill in :)

yeah... they have slowed down but are still creeping a bit. my lamp is as high as it can be.

I am using General Hydroponics Nutes, FloraNova Series. The solution measures 24 CF. The reservoir is about 13 gallons. I make a fresh 15 gallon solution every 7 days and then top with plain water as needed.

Floralicious Plus 5 ml / 5 gal FloraNova Bloom 35 ml / 5 gal Kool Bloom 25 ml / 5 gal FloraNectar 25 ml / 5 gal

Day 24 flowering... These don't really belong anywhere so I thought I would just throw them in this thread. I decided to stop growing white rhino so I am flowering the mother plant.

im just starting a scrog day 1 veg its the 6x8 tin shed thread. i was wondering , after the plant grows through the screen a few inches, you start to train the plant and how exactly do you do that? do you start tying or do you weave it through the screen

I do both. I push the leading tip of the plants under the screen until it grows to the edge of the screen. When the plants are growing above the screen, I tie them down to keep them all at the same level.
