Moby Dick vs. Nebula Growdown d(".")b

Yes Smoochie, that close-up is Moby.

It has been one week of 12/12 and Moby Dick is definitely a girlie, loading up with pre-flowers and Nebula has already started pushing out pistils!

All plants were top dressed with 1 tablespoon bat guano and 1/2 tablespoon bone meal mixed into 3B Pro-mix.

Moby Dick day 50: 46" tall, Dyna-Gro Grow 2x strength (1 tsp per gallon!) at every watering, no nute burn.

Nebula day 50: 38" tall, D-G Grow 1x strength (1/2 tsp per gallon) at every watering, no nute burn.

Nebula day 43: 35" tall, D-G Grow 1x strength (1/2 tsp per gallon) at every watering, no nute burn.

Hey Smooch, your girls look fantastic. They are so tall and skinny. THe way the light is catching the leaves is quite beautiful. The lime green against the dark green almost gives the feeling of natural sunlight shining through a glass window in the cieling.
I also really like the way you labled your photos at the bottom like that. Im going to def try to do that with my next update.very cool , nice presentation. Already thinking spring..that sounds great. im going to have a new years harvest and also an early spring harvest, maybe the same time as you and kev and ocali. the new year looks mighty good. take it easy

Ha ha! Yes, I like tall, rocket shaped ladies and these strains definitely lend themselves to that shape. The great thing is the first seven nodes are all within one inch of each other. I lst'd them to come out and up so there is an upper layer and bottom layer canopy. The 400w and 600w bulbs are parallel and < 2' from each other. The 400w is lower than the 600w, so the 400 is acting as side lighting for the 600, and vice versa. With only four plants under 1000w...

Ok so here are two pics, one each of Moby Dick and Nebula, of the bottom nodes. They are nice and tight. Keep in mind on the Moby I've lollipoped one bottom node and on the Nebula two bottom nodes. Please excuse the dropped leaf on the Nebula, for some reason I took the picture before it was removed.

So now that Moby Dick and Nebula are at 12 days of flower, I've noticed they both have a distinct body odor. I find myself venting the entire room 3-4 times a day. I like a nice skunky smell, but this is more like an unwashed skunk sweating in the sun. While touching them during the daily lst my hands reek of body odor.

I washed thoroughly, but when I came back in, I was asked if I put on any deodorant this morning, ha ha!

for the longest time, my "Deku" plants smelled like burger king without the meat. smelled like pickles, mayo and ketchup. Now after 4 weeks in flowering they smell like orange, kiwi and skunk, but alot of skunk.
