Great news for me, my air pots arrived! They are exactly what I needed and seem to be the perfect size, as far as my grow is concerned. I grabbed a pic under the hps so it came out crappy, but you can see what the 2 gallon looks like compared to my current pot. The three gallons are pretty big and I will be putting my sativas in them. I'm scared of how big it will make them Luckily, these air pots have plenty of holes to tie down on. LST perfection as far as I can see

Good to hear some positive comments I have been researching on RIU more then studying for exams haha I hope I can bring some knowledge to the table to help myself grow better and others that need help. I'm always tryin to help a brotha out and appreciate when the big dawgs (Uncle B) help me out. Funny enough I saw your grow the other day swelchjohn. Looks like you are getting everything together.

I must say that I am totally pro cabinet/closet growing! For us personal growers, it can yield all you will need. Take advice from TamJam69 and keep it small. His idea of a grow for now is to yield 14g a month (very admirable and smart) I am not the best example of a closet grower as I f**d this one up pretty bad and almost killer her in veg with nute burn. It can be seen on the lower fan leaves of my plant, haha o wait there are none bc the plan decided to leave the garbage and work on the healthy sites of the plant. At least my top 2 colas are fattening up really nice lately. Hoping to pull 2-3 grams a cola and 1 gram popcorn buds.

I hear you on cab grows. It doesn't take much to be self sufficient. Those air pots are great, I know someone that uses them religiously now. Thank you for the compliment I appreciate hearing about my grow now and again. Interested to see how your mini harvest goes and will be popping in to check it all out.

Ahhhh I really don't want to cut her tomorrow. I did a thorough flushing from my brita filter today and then topped it off with a tsp of molasses. These mini nugs look to be fattening up really nice

Hoping that they are dense and cure out really well. She got 8 hours of pure bluesky sunlight today and once I put her in the dark she will stay like that for 36 hours. I'm going to cut her and hang for about 12 hours. She is soo small that hopefully will be enough. Jar and curing for at least a few weeks before I enjoy hehe This purple dank should hold me over for a while

Hey MJ, thought I would drop in here again. Stoaked to see you are in your final stages. It's a shame you couldn't keep her going but oh well.
You seem real switched on when it comes to the pre harvest process of flushing etc, I may have o ask you some noob questions when it gets to that stage of my grow.
You have managed your plants well and I hope to see another thread if you start another setup.

So I was skimming through the forums (like always) and found a cool product that I am def. considering purchasing for my next grow. You may have heard of it, but, Dutch Masters Liquid light. This stuff is supposed to increase the respiration through the stomata which in turn helps the plant perform better photosynthesis (and isn't that what's all about) It's a foilar spray and I think it may actually work! I stole this picture from Touchet's and his nodes are crazy tight and make me want to try it out. May be the perfect foilar feeding solution for us growers that like to keep 'em short! Short plants with a lot of nodes produce FAT COLAS, so I may just have to purchase some.. I dislike it's high pricing, like $50...

So I did the noob mistake and went with the early cut. She is down and jarred for the next couple of weeks. Total wet weight was 8.75 grams, so I estimate that it will dry out to be a cut. This isn't a problem because for helping a good friend move, I received 3 grams of purple goodness. Looks like I'll be starting the summer off right!

Overall the cutting was a minty smelling process and extremely easy since I had like no fan leaves haha I will make sure to post a cured pic of this MobyD grass and let you know how well it smokes. Thanks for following me and I'll keep up with this thread for a little longer then moving on

I think I'm gonna grow my moby pretty big. She's been getting the lst for about a week now and its really amazing how fast the branches been growing, and I'm thinking that this is definitely the way to go my 150 hps. I was gonna do lst with my AI but I spaced out or something and the I topped her instead. But I lucked out though as it seems AI's one of those plants that responds VERY well to topping!

Anyways i wanna smoke report on that moby asap! If she's really as good as everyone says then i'm sure she'll still get you plenty blizzzzznazed brotha!

Word ayanami. I do have my supplies 50% together and the other half of stuff I need is the expensive crap.. Luckily, I just started work so no worries on the income. The next grow will prob start in like 2 months if everything goes according to plan. I'm done with the single plant 5g yield stuff. I'm ready for the couple ounces of medical mj

She ended up yielding 5.5g total with the main cola being 2.75g and the 2nd cola being 2.2g and the popcorn buds were only 0.5g. Now as far as I have seen the strain Moby Dick is usually very rigorous and outgrows everything else in the garden. This will mean a decent yield with a strong marijuana. The cured product gets a nice dark tint of green with Tons of orange pistils covering the frosty buds underneath.

I just took a hit, so I'll do my best to describe it. It has a pretty hefty smoke that feels a little harsh on my lungs. It could have been my quick grow, quick cure noobness of growing, but I blow out massive rips with this strain. When I open the jar a rush of minty sweet marijuana hits my nostrils and I love it. She has not finished curing yet, so I can only imagine the smell gets better. The smoke goes in strong and comes out with a small burst of flavor. I can only describe it as a sweet earthy taste. I've done a few hit tests with it and I'm usually content after 4 good hits. The buzz definitely creeped a little bit, bc at first I was like damn this shit sucks, but after a few minutes it really started kicking it. I do believe it is because this strain gets close to it's quoted 20% thc. Mine specifically did not have the time to digest the thc into stonier cannaboids, so it's a pretty alive high for me. I've been rippin this stuff in the morning and it get's me in a productive good feelin mood.

Of course that is all my specific plants smoke. I feel as if I grew MobyD big and flowered her long, the results would be completely different. It should have been more of a vigorous, high yielder, so I would recommend the strain. I actually do enjoy the sweet earthy flavor so she gets a solid 8.5 out of 10 from me. Overall, solid density for the nugs, decent smell, good taste, easy grow, and pretty strong buzz.

i hope i am not too late. DO NOT PURCHASE A LED LIGHT. i have an led light in a 3 ft cab and i can tell you that temps are still out of controll. on top of that. if you think you got a small yield with the 150 hps i can tellyou not to expect any increase with Leds . they are great for veg ecause of electricity and bulb life. but when it comes to flowering they are in the wrong neighbor hood like bloods at snoopdoggs house. I personally suggest a 250 w. i own a 250 watt as well as a 600 and a ufo all in different cabs. the 250 is in a 2x3x5 tent (aircooled)i used two pure kush bushes and filled up this area and recieved almost 6 ozs using fox farm tiger bloom. spread out the branches let them grow slightly and then flowere. and immediately put your clone that you took from each strain in veg. by the time one is finished the others will be trees ready to be flowered and it occupies your time with training topping lollipopping etc. i just got a 600 watt in a 4x4x6.5 tent and i plan on pullin in at least a pound with double light and space

by the way im growing moby d and it looks very indica in veg ( its in a threegallon bag of ffof miracle gro organic and perlite mix. i also have sweet purple . two lovely strains plan on taking slones then flowering. maybe in 5 gal bucketts so i have 5 bushes. i continuously grow strains from nocal but im on the east coast and my homie brought them all the way out here. none of the strains are certain but they are derived from what the guy out there grew and it consists of a mixture between grape ape. pure kush and lavender. of these my group has called the two active mothers/lones pure kush and frosty tops i also have hawaiian snow/lowryder mix of my own (faster flowerer) sweet purple and moby dick . so my goal is more than enough for me and friends as well as variety.
