I hear you but unfortunitly I need my medicine sooner rather than later and I dont want to buy from my dealer any more because he is skimpy (I buy a ounce of some purple bubah for $300! and he gives me like 15 grams thinking I wont messure and when I do he acts like he grabed the wrong bag and this has happened more than once.

ok but understand that growing at this level isn't going to support your needs. You're talking about a few ounces tops, every 4 months. They won't be pretty ounces either but will most likely still get you high.

If you're a patient, you should be able to find meds in the 200-250 range if you look hard, no? Is there a caregiver program in Az?

- $20 digital scale, show up with your own next time,...no more "mistakes",lol

but lets just say for example you just wanna hear it straight from another grower(s) mouth,... its gonna be extremely hard to grow on a 200 dollar budget, there comes a time when at the 200 dollar budget your giving up basic essentials youll need for a grow that worth the time/effort... first off i go to AZ often and you cannot cool down a shed that isnt air conditioned in the AZ summer weather, the fresh air you would be pulling in will just be hot outside air. and if you use CFL bulbs its oka nd you will get a decent yet airy and not dense harvest, for any real nugs (like the chronic your used to when u buy a gram or 1/8, etc) your gonna need a HPS light, 400 is the cheapest and you can grow up to 6 maybe 8 plants with it..i do 3 sometimes 4. you NEED a ballast to run any HPS or MH light, its the way the bulb is manufactured. u cant just plug them in or screw them into a socket and turn it on, the ballast has to convert the electricty for it to be a usuable source of power for the bulb, PERIOD. and furthermore there is no way you can run that bulb with out a proper air cooled hood, your temps will skyrocket in like an hour if you think u can just run a HPS bulb over your plants not cooled in some way...another thing.. air cooled hood, fan to exhaust the heat from the hood, ducting = extra money, atleast 60-70 bucks more.... then u need good soil, sumthing like fox farm ocean forest and some nutrients. all these things are too much for a novice grower to just jump into, both feet first, and dont try to do a 200 budget grow IMO opinion unless your very experienced and KNOW what corners to cut to save money, youll end up having a rinky dink set up and wasting the only 200 you had on worthless equipment. save up some dough, dont be anxious, its well worth the wait...heres what mine look like, current grow...3 plants in a small cabinet. i use the exact same 400 watter you had your eyes on but i built my own air cooled hood from knowledge and tempered glass i purchased from a glass shop...with out the air cooled hood, this cabinet was 107 degrees + when the light was on...now its about 79-84 F...if u need more help dont hesitate to ask, i needed help my first time as well...View attachment 1646802View attachment 1646803View attachment 1646805View attachment 1646808View attachment 1646810View attachment 1646811View attachment 1646812View attachment 1646813View attachment 1646814View attachment 1646816View attachment 1646818View attachment 1646819View attachment 1646815

well I have ways of getting more money but the money I have is tied up in the stock market wich is currently down. I called one guy claiming he was a support group and he said he would give me a ounce (wich he said would last me 3 months lol Id probaly smoke that in 2 weeks) and then with a $500 deposit he would install everything I need and teach me but he would take my first harvest= 12 plants + the $500. sounds like a scam. i guess ill have to go throw a fit like i did when i was a kid and wanted a toy until my folks cough up the green. pun intended.lol

with my dealer I call him and then i drive to his apartment then wait outside then he gets in the car and then I let him out so I dont see any time for wieghing.
P.S. I got like a $200 digatal scale that my gramps gave me so no trip to wally world.

step back, slow down, save up. Become a caregiver yourself so you can sell to your patients for 250 and it'll pay for yours, the bills, the supplies, the whole bit

i dunno man, if i was you id just grow with cfls, if u wanna be super budget guy you can buy the largest cardboard moving box from home depot, high gloss 99 cent white spray paint the inside, like 5 bucks maybe, and create your own cfl hood like i did for rooting my clones, cut out a square in the side of the box and hot glue gun a pc fan in the square cut out, cut out a small rectangle in the opposite side of the cardboard box down low to pull in fresh air...stay clean and throw this whole set up in your carpeted closet...CFLs will produce decent nugs if you keep the bulbs like 4 inches away from the plant...id run some autoflowers or maybe even a female plant but go 12/12 from seed or something, it will be more of a hobby grow but youll save so much you can buy a quarter with the leftovers from the 200 bucks,lolDSC02413.jpgDSC02411.jpgDSC02414.jpg

The guy teaching you isn't a scam, not at all, kinda reasonable if he's professional. It's what I do here in RI.

I charge $1500, ASIDE from the set up costs (1k-3k depending on construction needs)but I guarantee you $1500 worth of meds with your first run and I stay with you for 2 runs so although that seems like a rip off, it's actually quite a value (my worst customer harvested 10.5 ounces, 4 plants, her first run) ($2500+ worth). Especially with gas prices today. A new requirement for me to take you on at that price is you have to be internet and photo capable so I don't have to drive to your house every time you get a yellow leaf,lol.

$200 caregiver registration cost is 1 oz. You'll get NO LESS than 2oz per plant when you start if you use these boards to really learn up on this, more as you get better, is $200 really a lot of $$, think about it. This is what I meant when I said to step back and look to the future,....what are your aspirations? If you want an ounce or 2, every 4 months, go cheap, go cfl, it does work, you will get weed. If you want to not have to buy meds any more and even put a couple legal dineros in your pocket, save up, school up, and do it right. my .02

Oh, my point was,....lol.....I'd ask that guy if he would maybe work with you and take 1/2 of your first 2 runs. I often make special deals for folks on ssi and for those that just don't have the money to pay up front. Worth a chat

ok, again step back and look ahead. You will want to use the closet for flowering only. You;'ll want a separate area that can stay lit 24 hrs a day for vegging. (the vegging area doesn't have to be as big, about 1/2 will do)

Splitting the closet to do both will:
-limit your harvests as you'll have 1/2 the space to flower in
-increase cost (Minor construction supplies needed to make closet 2 separate rooms)

The other closet is the same size its just in a diffrent room (my room) I guess Ill have to put my entertaiment center and clothes somewhere else lol just a sec Ill take some pics.
