Misting

Is it okay if you mist your plant leaves? I have heard it causes sunspots or something like that, I have never really had a problem from misting my plants, anyone have any experience with this?

There is a good thread on foilar feeding, you could check it out here https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/296685-lost-art-foliar-feeding.html

I guess as with anything there will be mixed reviews and what works for some may not work for others. Just take a read on the thread and try it if you like. :)
u can def mist the leaves, only in veg tho, it works best at the end of the light cycle, the girls could use a nice cool mist after a long hot day!!:bigjoint:

Misting your leaves can cause alot of problems and don't bring more to the table than regular watering. When you mist your plants you bring up the humidity of the room, you also make mold able to grow because its a moist area. I would advise against it in almost all applications unless they are un rooted clones.

If you should accidently get a bud wet and can cause budrot from what I have read...no experience with that though...I am really lightly misting my nursery for my seedlings and they like it a lot but I think full grown plants don't need a lot of humidity especially in flower its likely a bad thing but veg could be a good idea....keep in mind this is only from my research and I have not really grown at all.

do it in veg, it helps. not in flower, real early flower is ok, like first 2 weeks, but dont after that makes for fast mold.

if I were you I would stay away from misting entirely. Why risk something that has many more proven negatives than positives?

There's no proven benefits to just simple misting. There are, however, proven drawbacks.

I find that if you mist your plants, just when the lights come on and just before the lights go off, with just plain ph'd water, everyday, your leafs will become bigger, thicker and broader. With bigger broader leafs to catch more light, would increase photosynthisis, which in turn would amount in a bigger more healthy plant. Bigger healthy plant would make bigger buds?
Just my 2cents.
I've only recently started this for this grow and I've noticed a substantial difference.
like I said, just my 2 cents

a "difference" how? are you misting some and not the others and comparing results? or are you just misting them all and assuming that's why they are getting bigger?

Well I never did it before this grow and already the plants leafs are bigger than all my other grows, that's what I'm basing it on, like I said my 2 cents, take it for what it's worth............but it makes sence to me. Do it, don't do it, it's up to you but I'm going to do it for now on.
Whatever you choose to do, hope you come out with some sticky icky
Oh and sorry FDD that YOU don't do it, but it seems to be working for me quite well.
