is it the mg soil that has the time release ferts in ? if it is dont feed anymore and go easy on the watering as every time you water , you are releasing more food for the plant , overwatering will cause you problems , ive used that soil succesfully in the past but you gotta be carefull , and its hard to tell when you have used up all the time release ferts and need to start feeding aditional nutes .
allso what time of year is it there ? ( how many hours of daylight are you getting ?)

im in tx were getting about 10 hours of sunlight a day and the food sticks are what im using for the nute the npk levels are 6-12-6 and the soil is.21-.07-.14 and yes it is the time release but the levels are so low and the heating pad that i have dosent get all that hot it stay at a relitvly low temp but hot enough to keep the plant warm and it is winter

ok mate your plants will go straight into flower if your only getting 10 hours daylight ,it definately isnt ideal growing conditions , dont expect much , not being an asshole to your plans mate but you would be 100% better off buying a few cfls for pennys, and controlling the growing conditions indoors , it sounds like your in the middle of winter there ? .ive never heard of the food sticks ( im from England ) but id discard them for now if your soil has nutes in , as you will definately over feed your plants .

i dont think that im over feeding my plant because the nute in the soil are so low and cfls dont really have the right light spectrums do they?

the nutes in the soil are not low , mj is extremely sensitive to nutrients especially whilst they are young
cfls are in the perfect light spectrum for growing .
if the plants are only recieving 10 hours of lights they will go into flower after about 2-3 weeks regardless of size really .some people purposely grow there plants with 12 hours of light n 12 hours of darkness straight from seed, to keep there plants small etc . .
i think you need to do alot more studying my friend , not being an ashole but read as much as you can on this forum and everything will become more clear .

ok well i picked up a 32w natrual daylight cfl bulb and i also just found out that my local headshop sells everything that could be needed for growing so now my ? is should i switch my soil to something with a bat guano mix or something?

naw im useing mg soil .doing fine here just pay close att. not to over water.. in a pervious thread it was posted that . MG time release nutes last anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks.. this what ive seen aswell . i wouldnt feed plants till i see nitrogen deficiency. But thats me. First grows are really a learning experience, take your time and learn(read) what works for you.. also i started flowering at about half the height i had room for..
good luck

When using Miracle grow , Perlite is your best friend.
trust this statement,
50% Mg 50% perlite,
Do not feed in veg for the first 4 weeks,

!1 other tip ,
Mg works but is not cheap ,
Soils made for the job are cheaper
when you look at it that way ......
Peace umbre...

Just hit week 5 with MG, and started noticing a lack of N. I have some Pro Bloom 1-4-5 that I just watered with 2ml/gal and took of the yellowing fan leaves. MG scared me with the yellow leaves, been an easy first grow so far. Seems that the ph of the water plays a big part w/ absorption.
