mitt romney does not have dozens of multi-million dollar homes. that's yellow journalism
Yes he does, he even bulldozed on of his 10k sqft homes to put in an 11k sq ft home.....really I am not kidding...look it up, he has a boat load of Mansions.

And writing that Ron Paul is just living it up in some kind of lavish lifestyle wasting tax payer money or something is the very definition of yellow journalism. Ron Paul doesn't take congressional benefits, the lobbyist and politicians don't go to him because he sticks to his principles. Ron Paul is INCORRUPTIBLE and that's one of his major appeals. The man lives a very modest life and this is some of the evidence for that.

What would be the point of having ten homes? I mean, I can see maybe two.. or three if you really have that much extra money... but ten?

Seems so wasteful...

you said "dozens". show me "dozens" of his homes.

and nowhere in the article did it say that ron paul is "living it up in some kind of lavish lifestyle wasting tax payer money", it simply documented that despite his hawkish stance on spending, he has spent $25,000 of your money and mine on upgrades to first class.

he can't even fill up a suit, he should be just fine in coach.

ron paul is not "practicing what he preaches".

how hard is that for some of you to understand?
How hard is it for you and people like you to look it up for yourself and not believe the lame stream media, huffpo of all papers. To put it the simplist way I possibly can...This entire article is basically a trick...It insinuates that Ron Paul is spending all of "YOUR MONEY" cruising around drinking fine wine or something its completely founded on a random number that is actually meaningless..its a strawman argument - what does it even matter? What does it even mean?...again ..YELLOW JOURNALISM..

the article does not make any mention of fine wines.

the money he is spending on upgrades to first class is our taxpayer money.

and the amounts they list were all released by his campaign.

are you saying the ron paul campaign released meaningless numbers?

i like you and all, deprave, but this is not a hill you want to take.

"Paul paid $51,972 for his government-rate flights between Washington and Houston between May 2009 and March 2011, or more than twice the $24,351 average airfare on Continental for travel between Washington and Houston."

I read that and I think......Interesting Tid bit......You seem to read that and you think Ron Paul is stealing from you piggy bank and booking jets .....its not even relevant.....How do you make this connection?

it means ron paul is just another politician, is what it means. to think otherwise is to be a fool.

where do i say ron paul is taking jets?

and the article is too kind. paul did not pay the $51 thousand and change, us taxpayers did. so that ronald could have more leg room.

Actually I still haven't read it not in the mood right now but it looks familiar..I am sure its a trap because its a huffpo opinion peace...and then really I am just making assumptions in my lasts posts but I will read it later and get back with you...pretty sure I remember hearing this before.

But Ron Paul is still worth a lot of money and does charge what appears to be campaign expense to the American people. While technically that's not illegal (as long as you do it right) and most people running for president do the same thing, it is using American tax dollars for personal use. Sounds like big government to me.

Ron Paul doesn't take congressional benefits, the lobbyist and politicians don't go to him because he sticks to his principles.
There you go again, willing to say just about anything with no regard to weather it's true or not as long as it sounds good. Flying first class and private jets with tax payer money sounds like a congressional benefit to me. Can I get tax payer money to fly first class? No. Well then that's a congressional benefit then isn't it?

He has absolutely taken lobbyist money including PAC money. So that's not really true either.

Ron Paul is INCORRUPTIBLE and that's one of his major appeals. The man lives a very modest life and this is some of the evidence for that.
It's easy to be modest when you make millions in profit off of using his job as a congressman to make millions of dollars. Although the incorruptible part might be a stretch.

it's not an opinion piece, it is based on facts that ronald's campaign released.

If you actually believe that, you are WAY too fucking stoned to be here! Sober up a little and do some research. And give up the bullshit "blue against red" "democrat against republican" trash, it's no longer about parties or colors. The last two complete dickhead morons ran this country into the shitter, so before you vote, do yourself and the country a favor and RESEARCH!
A. I have no cannabis
B. I am not a Democrat
C. Yes Daddy Bush and Monkey Bush ran this country into the shitter
D. The current president has done more for me than any president before him
E. Facts are facts, Ron Paul will NEVER get the nomination
F. I do a lot of research and the research shows (latest polls) Ron Paul is in fourth place
G. HE WILL NEVER GET THE NOMINATION.

so this is what it comes down to...he flew on the congressional flight instead of risking losing his money? Is this seriously your argument now or is this actually like a joke post?

he is heavily invested in gold mining companies and wants to get rid of the EPA.

ya think that will boost his stocks? i do.

i don't even need to mention his gold standard pipe dream either.

incorruptible? more like already corrupt. but you know this.

Well it's perfectly legal, so it's not stealing. But it definitely sounds like big government spending to me. He's spending tax dollars so he can have comfy flights. I guess that who cutting spending thing is more of a "do as I say, not as I do" sort of deal....
