Mid Amber's Indoor Grow # 2 (From seed, to harvest, to dry and cure.)

Yea I am anxious to see how this works. Loving your grow especially since you are like a week or so ahead of me so I can see what the coming week brings for my babies.
 
Hey mid hows it going brotha!! I just watched the 2nd vid, Looking good I remember when my current seeds where that big, Now they are bushes!!! Gonna be exciting once things start going crazy! So after you sex your babys how long you plan on veggin??

Hey brother, how has it been?
-As far as how long I am going to be vegging: I am going to veg until I have anywhere between 6-10 tops per plant/each plant is a foot tall.
-It should be a good time man......I am super excited for this grow! I have high hopes for this one! Especially considering how much I learned on my 1st grow! :)
 
Most say 12/12 from seed takes 3-4 weeks to show sex.

This is where I am at. ( I started 12/12 after the sprouts were 6-10 days old)
1/10/2012 = Day 18 from seed. (THREE SPROUTS)
1/10/2012 = Day 14 from seed. (TWO SPROUTS)
1/10/2012 = EIGHT nights of 12/12 have ALREADY happened.
----> And I am starting to see signs of sex.
 
How much time do you think you added to the grow cycle by force flowering and revegging?

I usually see preflowers in straight veg around week 4-5... It seems maybe you are losing time by flowering early when you could just let them veg and show sex on their own...

Saw this coming.....


1. I would have to re-pot them before they get that big (12/12 does not create as massive of a root system as vegging constantly would have), making me use soil for 5 pots.....5 gallon each...THEN WASTE SOIL ON MALES THAT RESULT after 4 weeks! Fuck that. I am poor.
2. NOT ALL STRAINS are going to show you sex that early.....some not at all until flower....I WAS NOT GOING TO RISK IT, they are bag-seed.

TRUST me on this....I think about my grow consistantly, TOO MUCH I would say sometimes....and have thought about it every which way.......this was the best way for me to SAVE MONEY.....IT IS NOT ABOUT TIME! Just figured I would clarify that.....I am poor, this is a poor mans grow....Hence the cfl.
 
Why would you need such a big pot for such a short veg?

You could even keep them in party cups till they showed sex.

Im not trying to knock your grow bro, just asking legitimate questions ;)

Im all about saving money when you can.

Stroll through my thread when you get a chance, you would be amazed about what you can grow on a budget ;)

I am NOT going to veg in party cups for a month/month and a half. Fuck that. A BUSH IN A PARTY CUP??????

ALSO: I can barely make rent.....I cant go buy 3 gallon or anything else. What I HAVE is 2, 5-gallons. ..... I WAS GIVEN THESE..... (I am going to work with what I have) no money for shit. I am not going to see A DIME from my new job until say......a week into feb.

You are welcome to watch my grow with the money and resources that I DO HAVE though.
 
Read above....! (I was given the containers. I have no money to buy shit else.) And honestly, for lsting and bushing out my plants for soo long, I am pretty sure I would go with a 3 gallon if it were my choice.

Not sit back and watch, or don't. ;)

-I just want it understood that I have thought about a shit ton of different scenarios, growing set-ups, (I overthink everything I do) and have done literally hundreds of hours of research, preparation, and just plain planning in my head until this grow had been looked at from every angle.
-Sorry I am in an off mood, bad day.
-I have made a many critical decisions on this grow, and I am happy with all of them.

Again sorry for my sour mood.

Yeah.....THE REASON I AM SOUR: I have been waiting on my red card to show up for a MONTH and ten days.....I ran out of my last (homegrown) stash at the 1st of this month....Now I have to bug my pals to go to the weed store for me....Sometimes they get bummed on it...I am ALWAYS bummed on buying weed, Especially when I can't afford it.

-I Use General Organics....the box.

Kind of kicking myself for not taking clones....but this time around I am going to stay perpetual.
 
Hell mid I feel you on the poor man grow. just glad we can grow with cfls.glad read you got you a job. Right on man.
