"I agree that everyone is going to have their own unique experience, and use for a variety of reasons. Finding the golden ticket has been difficult"

So true! I've been growing auto flowers for years and have tried many. For me, I have specific purposes for various strains. I've found some that are really motivating and aid in creativity (not all were sativa dominant). I've experimented with numerous CBD/THC strains for pain and less intense highs. Finally, have found some that help me truly relax without too much couch lock. Seldom have I found one that combines all three. However, I got the following strain as a bulk seed freebie. I later found out that it was from Growers Choice. It's a Kush that I would definitely grow again. Here's a link to the strain if you're interest.

I wish you well in your search.

P.S.
Crystal Meth from FastBuds is an excellent strain too
Even if you did find an auto that ticks all your boxes it's highly likely that the other seeds of the same strain will be totally different.

If you find it in a photo variety you can clone it and it'll be identical.

Yeah, that's part of what I enjoy. I'm not interested in keeping clones around. More work than I really have time for.

Here’s a shot of a Mephisto Forum Stomper that went to the grinder this morning. Reading the op, I definitely recommend this variety. Nice, long lasting buzz, good flavor, not hard to grow. As someone pointed out earlier, I could have trimmed a bit more, but I’m happy with the product.

I have Double Grape drying. What did you think of the smoke quality Race?
I actually found sour stomper and double grape to very similar. Certainly good quality bud. However, I'm not sure that I appreciated it much as some might. Of course, there's a good chance that I didn't maximize it's potential either. I grew this back in late 2021. My recollection is that it gave me a couch like buzz with some spaciness to it. It seemed more dominated by the Indica genetics of the hybrid. I didn't really get as much of the grape flavor profile or euphoria as I had hoped. I believe that I grew it in ProMix HP with Advanced Sensi Grow nutrients.
Anyway, that's the beauty of it we all have our own preferences. You may find it to be one that you love.
I hope that's the case for you!

Thanks for the reply. I prefer Sativa over Indica myself. Cannabis is so much better now than when I was young. I used to smoke that compressed Mexican pot with more seeds than buds, that’s all there was. Some things have changed for the better, lol. I am always looking for that ultimate puff.

I have grown so many Meph autos that it would be impossible for me to remember or list all of them here. Just finished a couple Double Grape x Grape Crinkle (pictured above), which was a freebie, and Pinot Noir, also a derivative of Double Grape. Yet to try either but will update here when I do. Also got a Skystomper 2.0 and a Forgotten Strawberries about to finish.

I've never been disappointed in any of them really, a couple that I stunted due to incorrect growing technique, but most that I got to finish have been impressive, in bag appeal, flavour and potency.

Consensus among my friends is that Fugue State, Jammy Dodgers and Marley's Grin were the best, so far.

Jammy was a huge favorite to those i shared with. I'm growing the Strawberry Nuggs x Chem de la Cream freebies i got from the last purchase i made. I don't really go hard with my Mephs anymore. I much prefer Daz' Night Owl stuff. Trimmed the 4 lowest nodes, 1x 14 watt led and 3 gal bubble bucket/DWC. Minimum effort.20230920_164819.jpg

I understand the utility of autoflowers outdoors, as you can ensure a harvest comes before the weather turns bad; the only reasonable choice for many outdoor growers.

A genuine question: what is the allure to growing an autoflower indoors?

There's no advantage and several disadvantages as I see it.
The advantage for me is that it's easier to maintain temp and humidity.
I spend money on electric heat in the tent, it might as well be making light as well.
A smaller and less expensive light can be used.
A couple autos are easier in my little tent.
As the plants near harvest, I can start new seedlings in the same tent.

Mephisto Forum Stompers at around day 69 update. Love this variety. Some yellowing up top I know, but overall really happy with these. They are now in the breeders listed harvest time (65-75 days). I intend to let these go a bit longer, but they’re ready by some standards. Easily 90% brown pistils at this point. Frosty. Mephisto FS with a big thumbs up from me.

I was wondering if fellow growers could please recommend particular Mephisto strains that they have had good results from? I have a relatively high tolerance and prefer a strong longer high. I have had experience with Sensei seeds which wasn't great. Barneys Farm had a poor germination rate. Fast buds is really the best I've experienced thus far and have only recently gained access to Mephisto's catalogue and want to get onboard. Any strain advice would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry for the late ass post. Im working my way through the Mephisto catalog and so far the few ive ran have turned out better than any other autos( and all but a couple photos) ive ran. 3 bears OG was fantastic. Very loud. Gassy, fruity taste/smell. Long lasting high and helps my pain and anxiety alot. Ripley's OG is finishing up and smells like burnt rubber and lemons. Super frosty. A BIG auto. The Hubbabubbahaze x Livers BX1 freebie is too young to judge but easy to train and bushy. You cant really go wrong with Mephisto for autos IMO. Ive ran Fastbuds GSC Auto and it was strong but lacked the taste and structure. Dutch Passion's ive ran were similar. ILGM...lol... dont bother. Im going with Double Grape and Forum Stomper next. I suggest reading up on their strains to find the best for you. THC% is only part of the story on buzz. There are so many other factors that play into the high a strain gives. Ive smoked stuff rated 25+% that didnt get me as high as other stuff that was ,"only" 16%. My reason for running autos is that i only have a 2.5' x4' space and i can try alot more strains per year growing perpetually. If you stagger your plants a few weeks apart, you can be harvesting new stuff monthly. Something not possible for me with photos. If you pick one of their Artisinals, youll have some good sh#t and fast. 3bog was like 70 days from sprout to harvest. Good luck!

Hey. I'm currently growing an Alien Cherry Kush from Aeque Genetics (Canuck) which I got from @CoastalMarySeeds . Info on the site is Alien Triangle x Cherry Kush. Assuming Alien Triangle is Mephisto, so I'll maybe update here on how it's going. Any Mephisto people know if they share genetics with other breeders occasionally?
Daz from Night Owl used to work with Mitch and Tim at Mephisto and he uses some of those genetics to make some unique F1 crosses. I havent had the pleasure of running them yet but I like what ive seen so far.

Damn i love that Meph snow. I swear, every one of their strains ive seen grow start frosting up soon as they begin throwing pistils. They practically look white when in low light. FS is definately gonna be on the next bean order. Those are beautiful plants DHX.
