I was going to run promix hp, I am using Gaia green dry ammendment for nutrients, their veg blend added to soil with a bit of the bloom formula, as well as worm castings and mineralized phosphate, some liquid weight by green planet and fish shit. And I have a mars hydro tsw2000 so 310 w led, and a 4ftx4ftx6ft vivosun tent

I have a couple 3 gal and 4 gal I was going to go back through the genetics put the stockier plants in 3 gal and try the taller one in the 4 gal, going to pop a DG, SS and a jammy all at once try and get 1 of each going. How is the success rate with germination?

You need two of them for a 4x4 for the light to be really effective... I'm thinking about adding another to the one I have in a 3x3, maybe a ts2000
Cee how much space is left at the edges??? I could squeeze another 2000 in there, but a ts would probably fit better...20210825_145913.jpg

I agree I could use another light in there, ideally would like to get a fc-e4800 in there and use the tsw 2000 in a smaller tent just for autos. But I have a newborn son, so the grow funds are limited to seed soil and nutes right now. Maybe one day down the road, or once I get my shit figured out enter some of these contests I see. Just working on my learning game right now

The veg and bloom are loaded with Ca,the bloom has phosphate.So adding more phosphate could be troublesome as it has even more Ca. Then your water sorce may have Ca?

I never thought about the calcium, I use tap water so probably would have more, maybe I will leave that out until I top dress at the flower stage. Is there anything else you would suggest adding? Or just veg bloom and worm castings. I will be planting my beans directly into the 3gals right of the bat in this blend

I normally do 1 cup 444 and a couple handful of ewc to 5 gallon promix,let sit a couple of weeks moist.For a seed scoop out a big handful replace with straight PM. You could layer your pot but Ive never planted a seed directly in.
Topdress after 3-4 weeks if in 5g ,mix veg and bloom 50/50 as bloom is low on N.

Thanks for the tip myke, I will give this a shot on the next run. I have never grown autos so this is a first for me only ever done photos. Will see how directly into the soil goes.
