Now that Rec is here ..well.sorta..:roll:
No one is talking about medical anymore. Lawyers who used to speak about medical patients now say nothing about how its going. :?:idea:Now that they work for the other side it seems.
No more mention about sick people who got this here in the first place!:hump::hump::idea:

we have said for years now they would go this route and criminalize us because they cant deal with sick people due to the courts approving us 7 to 0 :idea:

Was wondering if there's been any talk about taxing designated growers or med patients who grow their own. Just waiting for the next shoe to drop in medical. They'll be charging the 10% on medical LP weed come Sept., what's to stop them from taxing med growers?

Medical was a great excuse. We use it for not going to work, missing appointments, and getting stoned. All joking aside, I believe it was just the natural progression of common sense. We don't burn witches anymore so...

that credit was abused so they pretty well made it so yer dying or cant move or see or hear ,,,one illness wont cut it
my X is visibly disabled with JRA since age of 10 and doesn't qualify for the credit.BUT at one time she could!!
I said to my GP, if they were going to make it so Im not able to drive, I want full disability!
Then Ill take them to court.:idea:

If they can they probably will, although they don't tax your homemade wine or beer, that tax is all loaded on the front end when you buy the supplies.

I live in a small village with no buses no taxi's and no store I own my home and with what CPP disability pays me I can't afford to live any where else so I guess I just sit here and starve myself to death as well as my young son since I am a full time single Dad.

I registered my grow with a doctor recommendation this year..just in case the recreational legalities fall through.

I remember when medical grows were getting hit all the time. Not so much anymore. Seems like the heat is in Rec. grows or shops operating in cities where permitting is grey or LARGE operations where it is clear there is a lot of capital investment.

That is a valid argument Dan....why should you have to incur those expenses when it is completely unnecessary?...I pity the first person to get an impaired drug charge, but this needs to be sorted out sooner rather than later....we'll probably know who the first victim is by the end of October....that's my guess.

The ACMPR is slated to be repealed on Oct 17th and will be replaced with section 35 of C-45. All new MMJ registrations will fall under that section. No where does it say MMJ homegrows are going away. In fact, the Feds have slated 2023 before reassessing MMJ. Why are you always on about the sky falling?!?

As someone who fell the cracks of injunction (date issue interpretation) a fair warning isn’t out of line. Get a renewal. I lead my life thinking risk-reward, no risk.

Unfortunate you were one of the many who fell thru the injunction cracks.

Again, all current ACMPR holders are automatically flipped into the new section 35 (Medical excemption by the Minister of Health) day 1. All future registrations/renewals will be issued the same way. As far as I’m aware, section 35 does not affect MMAR injunction. Anything injunction related would have to be brought back to the courts by the Feds.
