Me growing some subcool stuff

I bought a pack of jilly beans from the atittude seedbank and got 3x Jack the Ripper and 3x 3D seeds.
I've started one 3D and one JTR a few months ago. the 3D died but the JTR was pretty fine.
The JTR is now in advance flowering, around 6.5 weeks in.
She smells like diesle and lemons and she's producing lots and lots of trichomes:




I've popped the rest of the TGA gear on the 23th of October.
I've killed one Jilly Bean while digging to see why it didn't sprout. STUPID.
The JTRs were runts. Like the first one they sprouted yellow cotolydons but these two were in straight coco and water and didn't like it at all. Once potted with fertilized soil they bounced, but still their small.

The Jilly Beans are the faster ones. They are just starting to show sex. So far I have 3 confirmed females and 3 I suspect to be males. (2 of them are in the right picture along cruising in my flowering chamber)


Along with Subcools gear there's an Ice Kush and Sweet Deep Grapefruit clones. There's a JTR clone in there as well.




I'll try to update this post every now and then, or when asked to.

She grew 12\12 from seed in the same pot as 4 other plants, hence the pretty small size.

Beautiful work!! Just wait till you see them swell. My JTR was a bitch to trim, but my got the flavor and potency were amazing. I've smoked it all Gonna have to see what Pandoras box does now for my JTR fix.

My Jilly beans are iun the mail from the Tude, really excited about that grow, keep up the pictures for me to judge mine with.

Mine doesn't look like it would be a problem at all in the trimming dept.
Most fan leaves fell already - the tiny advantages of organic grows~
I can't wait to see her swell up!

A little advice - germinate just a few. Mine were VERY uniform.
If you'r not looking for a very specific pheno or very particular about your mother 4 seeds should do to find a nice female.
I got 9 plants that look 99% the same.
(If you'r gonna use clones to continue and not start from seeds every run)

A shot of the JTR from a few hours ago.
The picture does no justice to how much sugar that plant is coated with. Its AMAZING!

the picture in the "attached thumbnails" is not a subcool plant, it got there by mistake.

I wonder how long she'll take to finish...

Chopped my Jack The Ripper a few days ago.
Very frosty buds!

The rest are still going strong.

I got a Jilly Bean male to release pollen in 18 days. Thats freaking quick.
I hope I kept the pollen correctly as I got a lot of plans for it


Anyone have any idea about how much the Jilly Beans stretch when starting to flower?
They are going for around a week now and barely stretch.
I need to take more pictures of the other strain but the JTR is so amazing...

And another question, I got a DWC bucket up and running for the first time. Any thoughts of what strain should I put in?
I got the Jack The Ripper in the pictures added, a Third Dimension that doesn't look THAT good and some Jilly Beans to take a cutting from.

One of my Jilly beans (#5) which I suspected to be male turned out to be only half a male.
I'm glad I caught it on time so no pollen at all was released in my male chamber so I will not have any of he's genes in my pollen by eccident.

He was pretty ugly too.

These buds looks FIRE!

Its totally crusted with powdered sugar and the trichomes are erect and pretty big.
Its smells somewhat lemony with some hints of benzin.
Can't wait for it to cure a bit.

Got another hermie male, 3D#1.




I've posted subcool a PM asking him about it and what I got is basicly "I've seen at least 100,000 of seeds from the strains your growing grow with no such issues. Looks like there's something wrong in your grow as it rarely happens to others. Feel free to post this information"

So far, out of 4 subcools strains I grew to maturity (3 males, one stellar JTR female) 2 were total hermie.

Dude I have no reply for this that wont piss you off.
Were in the neighborhood of 100,000 seeds grown out of each of those strains with extremely strong data to support each.
Two are top ten strains and some of the most tested in our lines. Its rare I get complaints but when I do the only response I have is I am sorry.
we grow our gear out our selves hell I had a tga newbie grow out 3d for the cup and we aint seeing what your seeing. As far as posting dude we dont hide from the world if you got bad results then post em up thats how this all works
When I grow I use selection methods to find the best 2-3 females out of a pack and I always assume I will need to weed out herms its the dominant state of cannabis as its natural condition is to reproduce.
Studing plants and finding the best ones are part of growing and I have way to many people that thank me for these very strains over and over again so again the best I can offer is sorry.
Just know that your in in a very small minority and I dont care what you say I'd be looking for a reason that gear so many people run in public is giving you probs and not others??
