Right next door more or less mate....but I wouldnt know the first thing about making my own with seaweed etc
Talk to getawaymountain he has a bit of knowledge in the seaweed extract department. Fish emulsion nd seaweed extract make a killer nute program. And dont even get me started on foliar feeding the two. My backyard smells like the ocean every morning. The plants love the stuff. Cold water processed seaweed extract contains plant growth regulators.

I've been mixing my own nutes from whatever is available, and CHEAP(40 years) . I get very good yields and very good herb. I'm boggled at the prices you pay for nutes. I mix my NPK at 2-1-1 for veg, and 1-4-3 for bloom. I add a variety of thing to cover micronutrients. Not always the same things, but the end results are similar. I've used Ironite for 30 years, at my Grandmother's recommendation. Her family had probably been gardening for a thousand years. She taught me thrift, as well.

Not trying to be a jerk. I just think there are better ways to approach this.

I've got to admit, sticking a spoon in a jar once a week would be easier.

Can't argue old school techniques Veggie.

I buy 1 20lb tub of the veg (16-16-16-) and 1 20lb tub of the Bloom (3-20-20) If I pay cash (I always pay in cash) I get each tub for $100 ea. 1 tub of the veg will last me all season, and the bloom should to, I may need 2 of the bloom. I have just under 2 feedings of the veg left in my veg tub and I just fed yesterday.
I Grow 8 plants and expect to get 5+per plant, so for $300 I think it's a deal.
Plants were started the 1st week of March and didn't get their first feeding of Maxsea until June 18th https://www.rollitup.org/t/open-show-tell-outdoors-2014.789609/page-65#post-10615727

Yea it's a super good deal. I was using maxigro and maxibloom of which I still have 16 pound tubs... and those were like 100 so the maxsea is a killer deal.

I'm down with mixing my own teas and ammending soils without the latest "miracle-in-a-bottle."

If you want to get ocean-based fertilizer, try water soluable OMRI organic kelp from kelp4less.com. Works well when watered with molasses, even better with foliar feeding! Add fish emulsion in veg.

At what strength are you feeding them & do yku add cal/mg as well? Lastyear during bloom i ran into a problem with my pistials coming out brown and it never recovered. I wasn't sure if it was cal\mg or just to much maxsea.
