Day 41 Update. Huge bummer today as I found some bud rot on some of the perimeter colas. :cuss: Did some defoliation to let more light and air flow into the canopy and blasted all fans into the canopy to attempt to get air moving through those dead spots. Gonna start brewing some LABs as well to spray to keep any spores from germinating. Fingers crossed I can keep it at bay for the next two weeks.89BA7CB2-FC47-4FB9-9B38-8539C01B63F0.jpeg729C266A-1262-4ECE-9C3F-D1E850863651.jpegE11968A6-A612-4922-902C-C4F3FB55446F.jpegFB22DE51-E190-46A5-A8A7-8130243A10D4.jpegE307A48A-EC34-4AE6-B524-9A5B541BAAEF.jpeg

purchase a dehumidifier asap, chuck the infected unfortunately

Yeah, already cut out and tossed all of the infected spots I could find. Looking at small Dehumidifiers on Amazon that I could fit into the tent itself (not easy to find a good one for a decent price that would fit).

In the meantime I’m spraying Dr Zymes to kill any spores that are left and am making some LABs (Lactobacillus Bacteria) which I will use as a foliar spray as well to prevent any spores from germinating. I’ve actually been advised (by someone who I fully trust) not to adjust the RH until I have the fungal issue under control as a rapid shift in RH can result in rapid dispersion/proliferation of spores.

So my plan at this point is just to defoliate (which I already did a bunch of but plan to do some more today), and spray with these natural Fungal treatments and try to limp along for the next couple weeks till the Lambsbread is done (based on last grow) and assess where the Jamaicans are by then as well.

Next run though I definitely plan on having the DeHu in the tent and ready so I prevent the Humidity from getting out of hand in the first place.

Day 48 from the Flip update. So far the Zymes seems to be doing its job, but I decided to bring in the help of Nature (in the form of LABs) instead as I like the sustainability, lower cost, the fact that it won’t hurt my beneficial insects, that it serves more purposes than just a fungicide (also very beneficial for the plant’s immune function as well as promoting Flowering growth), and that I can even make cheese out of the curds!

Checked the Lambsbread under the loupe and I’m still seeing 90-95% clears, so it’ll be till at least Day 56 like last run till her Tops are ready to chop. The Jamaicans look like they just really started bulking this past week, so I’m thinking they probably have another 3 weeks easily, maybe more.

Once their Tops are done, then I’ll be able to crank up the Timber which should help to raise the temps and drop the RH (less plant matter should help that too). Till then it’s exhaust fan in full blast, all interior fans blasting air onto and through the canopy, LABs sprayed at 1/30 (maximum recommended concentration), keeping the tent door open as much as possible, and opening up all available windows and doors to exchange airflow in the basement where I have the tent. Also helps that it has been spectacular weather with not a drop of humidity the past few days!

Fingers crossed.ADB8774A-6DFE-400C-B2EF-5D8FA54C5528.jpeg37834E17-42AD-437C-B247-6152C089D9BB.jpeg51B7DA9F-433C-45C1-A566-D8D2B972B914.jpeg577ED4F8-D753-4B73-8725-CC9A45D021EB.jpeg4A2CC77F-0B9E-49C9-AEBA-56D53C4EB987.jpeg18E25CBA-2C38-4706-B7DE-356F3ED503FE.jpegE4E639A2-0CDE-49FE-BC7E-0F119F8DBA36.jpeg

Day 53 from Flip.

So far the LABs and Zymes seemed to have kept the budrot at bay (still keeping my finger crossed though).

Checked the Lambsbread with my loupe today and I’ve decided that she is where I want her. Was going to Chop her Sunday (Day 55) anyhow, so a day early shouldn’t matter. She’s done either way.

So, tomorrow morning, right when the lights would normally be turning on, I’m gonna Chop her Top most colas to hang dry. Research and experience suggest that harvesting after 12 hours of darkness produces the maximum Terpene content.

Once those are chopped, I’ll plug in the light and check out the Acapulco Tops. If they are ready to come down too, I’ll repeat the process the following morning. If not, then they’ll be allowed to ripen till they are ready to harvest.

Woohoo! Can’t wait to try this girl out! She is absolutely caked in trichomes!D75DF838-8554-4157-BD5B-0B27AD62E599.pngFE9923F5-4273-4670-9D6E-E3563BABE2C6.png4EF2B0ED-8E14-4A2B-9654-D505C6A2E950.jpegC7AF536B-B2FC-4A7A-A6FC-70FD8AFA1081.jpegAE617879-362C-409F-8905-377154EF8224.jpeg46E83124-A65C-495B-A8B6-6A59707BC8FB.jpeg

That definitely a little frost generator lol
Yeah she is! Frost advisory in full effect! Actually pretty excited with how much frostier the Jamaicans are getting this run as well. Not quite as frosty as the Lambsbread (though in fairness they still have another couple weeks till I think they’ll be ready to chop) but definitely way frostier than last run! :blsmoke::weed:

That's what we do run something & if it shows potential take whatever you've learned correct any mistakes & apply it into the next round I'm on my first round with a new tent & a strain that I'm the first to grow & the light that hasn't been in the 4x4 but rest assured next round will get better lol

Definitely! Frostiest she has ever been (3rd run with her) and best flower development (even though last run with the Schwazzing produced tighter internodal spacing). Still got lots of Flower left on her to Harvest as well (and still one pretty tall and big cola that I left to see if her lowers would develop more now that these big branches aren’t blocking all her light).

Pretty excited about the Jamaicans too as they are definitely continuing to fill out and are far frostier that they were last run as well! Those plants are almost certainly gonna be bigger yielders than the Lambsbread, but not as good in terms of Terps (and maybe not on frost, though that’s yet to be seen).

Interestingly, I have a cut of the Jamaican going outside and gave one to my best buddy to grow outside as well, and both of those have a nice fruity Terp profile (can definitely smell the Blueberry Terps in her) while I am picking up much more of the Citrus/Grapefruit Terps inside and zero of the Blueberry smell so far.

Pretty cool how the Epigenetic factors can cause them to express different genes, even with it being the exact same plant!

Yup, that’s all we really can do, and has always been my goal; just try and get a little better each run, learn from my experience, and don’t be afraid to try stuff and know that it won’t always work out, but it will always teach you something valuable if you are open to learning it.

Definitely helpful to surround yourself with those who are further along that path than you are to guide you and inspire you (especially if they are willing to help guide you along that path so you avoid many of the pitfalls that you would have fallen into on your own) if you want to reach your destination faster though.

Good luck with the next run, will definitely be following along.:blsmoke::bigjoint:

Day 70 of Flower/after the Flip update.

Been checking the Jamaicans with my loupe daily and they are starting to slow a fair number of Ambers with few if any Clears and mostly Cloudy Trichs. So I’ve decided that I’m gonna chop the Tops and the Acapulco Tops tomorrow morning.

Can’t wait to try these girls!8738DE29-0BCC-458B-998B-BE0CFB287752.jpegE138DDAC-559F-4995-938B-FA7A1DE3BE2B.jpegBFC183BE-9614-4434-9F49-E6B4F5E28E98.jpeg292AB1F4-C4A8-4154-B5FA-CE888190767A.jpegACFB2ADB-7D2B-4F90-97E9-FF3755B3CF28.jpeg

Jamaican and Acapulco Tops have been chopped and hung. Got quite a few big spears off those Jamaicans! As predicted the Acapulco isn’t gonna yield much, but on the upside she does smell delightful.

Also still tons left in the tent that is gonna continue to fatten up and ripen!

Can’t wait till everything Is ready to jar/cure and eventually smoke!22EDE844-E362-4219-B0BB-9A06739CE341.jpeg66DA8DCE-0610-483A-9C84-92DC92D56673.jpeg870C6603-B0B5-44F5-B926-A56F32A43580.jpeg49C2483F-8D84-4537-A3F8-FA5D5EBF3FCD.jpeg80CD1600-E1D3-4152-8538-0AC12F807225.jpegA12F3DBC-EF8C-4F39-B35D-4FE199D58F75.jpeg73D6213E-29D4-4591-BD39-9C7E658E4371.jpegFDE61B55-53F9-4990-B563-7D73B1EF4989.jpeg

Thanks brother!

Yeah, with the amount of Watts you are pulling from the wall and the fact that the Luminous COBs are definitely quality diodes I expect that light of yours to grow some serious dank.:blsmoke:

this light paired up with the 4x4 a lot the next month should really tell the story I've no experience with anything in this grow the strain hasn't been ran nor the tent & the light in a 3x3 only so I've got a few first time things going on 20201014_112107.jpg20201014_112155.jpg
