I am anxiously waiting for some numbers.
still spinning a few too many plates guys. ill get the spacing and PAR numbers out here or on video as soon as I can get to it. i the meantime, im trying to get my garden running at max capacity.
to turn all my LIGHTS into growLIGHTS, LOLOLOL.

ill get the spacing out. but in the meantime, its pretty intuitive for anyone that watched the video.(s)

Digging the new light !!
That is a bad bitch lol

I am thinking of adding some xml2s and 2 more 3590s to my build after this run.
Hope you don't mind me dropping an update. I am pretty proud of this 216 watt light I built :) I never would have got it done without some coaching/know how on the tube and here from yourself and Genes.

The plants are absolutely loving it. And so am I.
Exactly 6 weeks from seed veg. Day 9 since going 12/12.

here is the PAR map for the Canopy10. as hard as I tried spread these cobs out, its still brightest in the center, but only 100µmol - ish. Im really happy with the config so far, its the most even canopy Ive ever had in this room. each of the 9 plant positions is receiving a very similar avg PPF. measurements taken at 18"

@Growmau5 regarding your fixture.. Have you considered using wider angle optics for your center lights, while keeping your narrow optics on the outside of the fixture? It may help to alleviate the light density in the the center of the footprint.

Awesome fixture man, you are always killing it.

@Malocan can share his par map template, its prettier
Hello @Growmau5,
thanks, but i didnt made the par map template:/
JorgeGonzales did the 120cm*120cm par template and guod did 60cm*60cm template.
All datas(tamplate) are in my thread, you can use them for sure if it does help you.

i think ill pop in some RZ diffusers first and recheck the numbers. the design really only works with Angelina reflectors 90deg.

thanks for those links!
Hope to see the spread you're wanting with the diffusers. That was a great idea and I think it'll do the trick.

@cdgmoney250 @Airwalker16 so the RZ diffusers on just the 4 Cobs in the center of the panel worked like a charm. dropped the hot spot from 865 to 808 µmol/s
but I dont know where those photons went, lolol. ill have to wait til I can pull the light down or pull the plants out for an accurate updated PAR map.(edit: pulled out the meter and a yard stick, looks like the diffusers bumped up the areas that were 750µmol/s to 778, so thats pretty cool.
cheers guys.

thanks @Greengenes707 for sending those diffusers a while back, they come in very handy!!

I had a feeling those would do the trick. Very happy for you!

How bout just removing the inner reflectors?
the design really only works with Angelina reflectors 90deg. with the bare COBs emission angle, i would lose a lot of light behind the decorative plates. now that its been 10days since adding the RZs, stretch is over and Im left with an incredibly even canopy. minus 3 or 4 shoots that are 4-6" higher than the rest of the canopy. guess i gotta catch up on my videos and show everybody.
