Masterkush DWC and root rot: Hydroguard?

hey guys, noticed my rez temps were getting a little hot because i had not hooked up my exhaust yet, and sure enough the day i hook up my exhaust i notice the root rot.

its like a soggy, brown texture. i am using a 400wdigital ballast, now with an air cooled 6in hood, with htg 6in fan. the room is now getting to a maximum of 82 degrees.

The 8 clones are on day 30 of flower cycle. i am using hydroton as a medium, using botanicare organic nutes, along with a little myco, and adjusting the pH to 5.5-5.8.

i cleaned the rez out thoroughly and added a fresh gallons of distilled h2o with about 15-20mL of hydroguard in each, and adjusted pH to about 5.8.

am planning to add nutes tomorrow when the light comes back on. does this sound like a good idea? or should i have added them with the hydroguard?
i saw a little bit of what looked like roots coming off in the fresh rez; i read other posts and most said similar. im just wondering when to start adding nutes again?

heres a few pics but none are of the roots. ill post pics of roots tomorrow.
any help would be great.

I'd say let them go for the night to clean up the best they can. Then tomorrow flush and give them some food, then keep a strict watch over the roots and reservoir temps.

sometimes its not root rot how does it smell and what nute are you using... one time i had thought i had root rot but it was jus stained by the nutes i was using but if so i recommended a cheaper alternative method i used sm-90 on root rot and it had proven great results jus my .02 :]
