I used 86 mite and mold which both my hydro store and the product faq claim can be used up until harvest. I tried to only spray the leaves and avoid the bud as much as possible. I'd rather have some lemongrass and rosemary oil in my bud than bugs.
Buds literally get rained on constantly outside..... Personally i think i would spray them off in my shower and then put her back in the tent for a few more days.
What does the rain have to do with this? I feel like rain or shower would just be driving pieces into the buds further. Whatever died in those buds are going to get stuck there and more bud grow around them, rain or shower would wash the leaves and outside of bud decently, but would risk mold.. At least with bud washing you turn the bud upside down and plunge it into a bucket a couple of times and any particles would get flooded/flushed out and be floating in the water. Ive never done the bud washing, grown plenty outdoors and indoors but I've seen it done, and I believe the video I watched used like hydrogen peroxide or lemon juice or something to act as an antiseptic as well... Idk, either way would probably work..

I got the mites under control and am just now getting into the second wave after the eggs have hatched. I used 86 mite and mold from NorCal which claims to be safe up untill harvest. It nearly instantly caused the mites to disappear. Unfortunately it doesn't remove the eggs so you have to reapply. I first noticed them im guessing a week or two after the infestation began. I misinterpreted some of the damage as natural degeneration and didn't catch it untill there were hundreds of visible mites and advanced webbing.
